Hi Jakeswife congrats on your pregnancy, dont worry too much, last year this time i was 3 months pregnant, i use to worry about every little twitch i was so paranoid, i got use to the different symptoms every month, if you have morning sickness try ginger tea or ginger ale, i had so much of both cant stand to smell them now, relax put your feet up, think about the beautiful baby inside you

Happy Sunday, everyone!

Steven has REALLY been missing me lately. He asked Friday night if I could catch a plane to see him for the weekend. I was like.... If I fly to Mo Bay on Saturday morning, I wouldn't get there until the afternoon... and I'd have to catch a flight back Sunday morning. Not worth the time or money for less than 24 hours.

He knows I have a surprise trip coming up, but doesn't know when (March 26). It was his idea for the trip to be a surprise in the first place, but now he's trying to get me to tell him when I'm coming. But I'm not spoiling the surprise this close to it! I just tell him "One day you'll feel a tap on your shoulder."

ShellyBelly, when did they say the Visa would be ready?

My husband said that the clerk at the window said 2-3 weeks but I just tracked the package wit DHL and it says "awaiting pickup by recipient as requested". Can it really be? I'm so excited but that was real fast so my husband gonna call from down there and find out 2morrow

Hi Shellybelly, Congrats on your husbands approval, my interveiw was the 9th and i tracked my package on wednesday got the same message awaiting pickup ect, i will collect it tomorrow in montegobay

Hello All, I got approved today, Consular officer asked me a few questions, have i ever commited a crime, when was the last time i saw my husband, my reply in Sepember after i gave birth to our Son, he asked if i have his Jamaican birth Certificate, i had it thank god) he looked at it, then He gave me instructions how to apply for a Consular Report of birth abroad for my Son, then he said thats it mam pay for your visa at the DHL counter, i was so happy i had our wedding album with almost 200 pics, cards my husband sent me, he didnt ask for any of those. i am soooooooooo happy i was smiling all the way out ,3 years and six months of marriage its finally over, one more step to go getting Our sons paperwork wont take that long, my husband would have to be here they want both parents. i would love to give more detailed info but i am sooooooooo tired leave my house from 4am (live in Trelawny) for my 7:30 inerveiw hey Javesgirl my # at the embassy was 143 maybe you would recognize me i had a Large Album with me got to go now need some sleep bad will post more tomorow

Hello Everyone what did you guys took for the interview (CR1) i have pics & wedding pics lots of cards, no phone bills use calling cards, we have been married 3 years have a son who will be 5 months on friday, should i let my husband send me everything he submitted to NVC (Affidavit of support tax papers, he hasnt filed 2009 taxes yet hope that wont be a problem, should he also send me the Approval notice from I-130, just trying to get everything sorted out interview is March 9, 2009.

Hello There Mrs. Hamilton (Tamika, i am still nervous have no idea what to do, i am praying that my husband gets the appointment letter so he can fax it to me by friday the latest, they have a slot for the medical (Mobay Hope) if i dont get that letter in time the medical would have to be late or delayed, i dont want that to happen, i am still praying about it, Your Case is k-3 i dont know if Kingston will issue your apointment letter ( my case is IR1), lets keep our fingers crossed that everything goes well. Hello All just found out about my interveiw from NVC operator March 9, 2009 7:30am, called mobay hope for medical its a bit close to get medical done in time, case was shipped to kingston february 13, 2009, problem is mail takes forever in jamaica, i cant go to the medical withouth the info from NVC, hopefully my husband get his soon so he can fax it to me, sorry i dont have a timelime (cant remember all the dates ) short info, married august 20, 2005, hubby got naturalized after we got married, case complete december 5th. i am sooooo nervous i am shaking like a leaf

M's interview was on a Wednesday and he could pick up the results the following Tuesday.

Hello So sorry about the denial of your daughter, i dont understand why, was your husband living out of the US? I would like to apply for my sons crba soon i live in Jamaica my Husband is A Naturalized US Citizen (before the birth of our son, he has never been out of the US longer than 2 weeks, i hope we are approved

I called NVC last night the Automated System says My case has been forwarded to Kingston (IR1), Feb. 13th, When will i receive packet 4? i emailed the embassy i got a reply automated message, i am a bit confused i thought that NVC wont send the case to kingston unless they have a interview date.

Well Jakeswife, I don't know about other parents but I am not a hitter at all, now I am a yeller, so Brycie knows when I have raised my voice she has gone over-board. She will straighten up. My parents were not hitter, so I don't believe in it. Now I have seen my cousins get beaten with shoes, belts , broom handles.

You can disciple a child to respect you as a parent without hitting. I have a rule in my house no one raises their hand to another person, because I don't want my daughter to think it is okay if a man should want to use her as a punching bag.

See Rox..it's a toally dif way in JA if ur parent slaps u...it is not right man or woman to hit another..I do believe some kids fi get slap every now and then..ir ur a woman and u slap her daughter why would she think that it is ok for a MAN to hit her...the child must separate discipline from torture or abuse..
