So just to give a background to my case, NVC contacted me initially saying my police certificate was rejected because it’s not from a correct issuing authority.
so I applied to my neighboring embassy in another country as we don’t have my embassy in the country I’m residing at , to replace it but it’s stuck in transit and not moved in over two weeks due to war, Covid delay.
So I uploaded the reason and they accepted it saying, “your documents reason is accepted and I’m qualified to move to the next phase of interview, however when you are able to obtain this document you will have to submit this document to the NVC”.
my question is what if I’m not able to obtain this police certificate as there is war going on in the country (Armenia) where I need to get my certificate from the embassy there?
What happens at the interview?
Would I still need to submit t after an interview or would they understand that it’s beyond me to get it?
(p.s. I had initially submitted a police certificate from my home country but it was not the correct issuing authority).

Hi some of my documents was rejected by NVC and needs to be resubmitted.
So can I resubmit one document while I wait for the rest or should I resubmit all of them together at once?
thanks in advance

Thankyou for your response! So how did u sent them the certificate without resubmitting it?

Have anyone who has uploaded birth certificate from India to Ceac website, got the certificate approved / accepted by NVC?
If so did the approved birth certificate have apostle on it before u uploaded them to ceac website?
Or is apostle a necessary for Original brith certificates from India?

Does anyone from India with IR1/CR1 case know y an original Indian birth certificate would be rejected by NVC?
the reason they gave in the messages was- not correct issuing authority!
but mine is from the correct issuing authority according to NVC guidelines for India.
So to anyone who uploaded an Indian birth certificate on ceac website do u need to apostle the birth certificate before uploading it to NVC?
could that be a reason y NVC rejected the document, because mine was not apostled!
and I live outside India so with this covid border issues, gettin apostle is a hassle!
-
Also just to be clear,
So my original birth certificate was rejected by NVC, reason given in the messages— it should be from the correct issuing authority.
mine is from the correct issuing authority from my country according to NVC guidelines for my country!
The only reasons I can think of is improper scanning or not having apostle.
but to get Apostle is a hassle because it needs to be sent to my birth country and I don’t know how long it can take with the courier and covid border restrictions!
My question is could not having an apostle be the reason for rejection because NVC reason for rejection is wrong!
or could it be a scanning mistake/like I could use a high resolution scan next time I resubmit?
please help!
thanks!

I followed the RFE to messages given to me by NVC, and did not upload I-864A during the first RFE.
As a result, the second RFE asked me to upload I-864A again, so I was also confused about the standards required by NCV.
In addition, foreign spouses are required to provide proof of U.S. citizenship, so I really still want to respond to this RFE.So what was the reason given for rejecting your birth certificate?

Also I wanted to know if there was a timeline/ time frame within which I have to resubmit documents at NVC that was rejected for IR1 case?
-
Alright that might be the problem then.
My scanned birth certificate does look light and not that clear!
I will look into that!
Also should I write an explanation while resubmitting?
thankyou😊

So u are saying just to resubmit it again and do a better scan of the document?
i used my iPhone 6 for scanning!
this is my original birth certificate and even the issuing authority are all correct according to the NVC guidelines, so I don’t know y they rejected!

Hi
Do NVC give reasons for rejecting a document?!
if so where can I find the reason for rejection of a document?
Also do u need to apostle an original birth certificate that u have uploaded on NVC?!

I wanted to know in the additional documentation section of I-864 for employers verification letter, for a self employed sponsor, do u need the employers signature or is a recruiting and operations coordinator of the company’s signature sufficient in the letter?

Sorry my sponsors current annual income is 27145$ the other 25000$ was the gross adjusted income!
Do you think I should still have a back up joint sponsor?!
-
Also I had one more question regarding which affidavit of support form should a IR-1 visa be filing for, considering the US spouse is filing for one family member( spouse)?
Also considering the US spouse qualifies as a sponsor without any joint sponsors!
Is it I-864 or I-864ez?
-
Thankyou so much!
I will be putting the total income on the latest tax return as the current annual income.
-
So my husband(sponsor) is currently self employed!
So should I still type his current annual income from his latest federal tax returns?
-
I wanted to know in form I-864 under current annual income question, should I type my sponsors(Husband) current annual income or the annual income on his latest(2019) federal tax return?
-
My spouse(sponsor) is submitting His IRS tax transcript and an employer letter as proof for income along with I-864, as he exceeds the federal poverty guidelines!
Are these enough proofs for I-864?!
-
-
My spouse (Sponsor) is a US citizen!
-
Will the current annual income for 2 household members as 25,227$ In form I-864, qualify my husband to be a sponsor, as the federal poverty guidelines for 2020 is 21000$ for household of 2.

I wanted to know if the visa bulletin applied to IR1 cases whose priority date is same as received date on I-797(notice of action)?
How long does it take for NVC to respond an expedite email request?
in IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures

Hi,
So NVC sent me an email on 20th October 2020 saying my document we’re qualified for interview. And yesterday I sent an email to NVC requesting an expedited interview date.
when can I expect a response from NVC about my expedite email request?
and if they approve my expedition request how soon would I be able to have my interview?
thankyou!
