"(c)(9)( )" Note that there currently is no fee for this I-765 category if you file I-485 before Oct. 2nd and pay full I-485 fee.

Also, filing I-131 is optional but recommended (and currently free). In that case, you'll file I-130, I-485, I-765, and I-131 packets all together at Chicago Lockbox. Send it as you can to avoid fee changes on Oct. 2nd. Don't send it with USPS, because USPS is having long delays in Chicago area:

    Appreciated for your advise.

  2. Hello everyone

I've been married with US citizen for over 3 years and am applying Family-based Green Card now.

My current status is E-2 visa and the E-2 visa will be expired in Dec. 2021.

I'd also like to apply I-765 (Application for Employment Authorization) together just in case, in order not to lose my work permission in USA before receiving Green Card.

(I won't get extended E-2 visa from my employer after Dec. 2021.)

    Here is my question.

Part 2, question 27 in I-765 is about eligible category.

I'm looking at the instruction and "Who May File Form I-765".

But, I cannot find my category (E-2 visa).

Which one should I have to select ?

Any advise would be most appreciated.

Thank you and have a nice labor day weekend !!
