Morning!!
received letter from USCIS and my husband's oath ceremony is this Friday, July 15, 2011
-
Just received another notification that we were sent out a letter with the day and time of the Oath Ceremony!!!
this is so exciting!!! It's been a long journey from start to finish and finally, we will be crossing the finish line
permanently!! Funny, how it seems like yesterday when we first started this process ( 2005 ) Hopefully,
the ceremony will be this month.

hi, well here's the latest on my husband's case. His interview was June 23, 2011, was told
that we might have to submit additional evidence and that we would receive that letter shortly. To date,
no letter, but received a notification today that my husband will be notified of the oath ceremony and to
expect the ceremony within 45 days of letter, so i guess that means they don't need anything from us afterall
and that there is nothing more to do!!!
I was kind of surprised and will try not to get excited until we receive the ceremony date. I'm hoping this is
it and we will be forever done with immigration!!!

Hi,
well yesterday was my husband's interview and all went well, he passed with flying colors BUT
they asked for our 2010 tax returns and some documents showing us "jointly" and we brought the
required documents that they asked for on the appointment letter so, we were told that we will get
a letter asking what documents they want and once we submit the documents, my husband will get
his approval letter along with the details of the ceremony. So we're almost there, we can see the
finish line but still a few hurdles to cross, i'll be so glad when we can put this to rest, hopefully
soon!!!!

Thanks Alma!

Hi,
My husband received his appointment letter for his interview, it's June 23, 2011
I was wondering, it says on the letter that space is limited ,now i would love to go but its real hard for me to get time off of work, it doesn't say anywhere on the letter that the spouse needs to be present, does anybody know if its in my best interest to
attend the interview with him? It also says to expect to be there for 2 hours, the last thing i want to do is sit in a
waiting area or in the car for 2 + hours waiting .

my husband had his biometric appt on tuesday, in and out in 30 min, left with a booklet, two disks and a box of flash cards to prepare for the citizenship test
wonder how long it will take to be notified for an interview
-
We got our biometrics appt yesterday for April 19.

thats odd, when my husband adjusted his status, on the form it indicated that they will
forward his name to the selective service automatically. Are you positive, he isn't registered?
Did you go to their website and he wasn't found in their database?
If you go to page 5 of the AOS application, you will find that statement about them
being authorized to submit your husband's name to the selective service.

Hi,
we filed ours on March 4, 2011 and the check was cashed on March 7, 2011 they didn't waste no time
and we also received our NOA last week and i also signed up for text alerts and i was sent a text on March 7, 2011
at 12:30 am that they received our application they really need to adjust their timing when sending out
automated alerts. Hopefully, i can figure out how to add myself here to your list.
good luck to everybody!

Morning! so glad the weekend is approaching. the new belt for the tractor arrived
yesterday so hopefully that will get on this weekend, it sucks cutting grass the
old fashioned way
yesterday, i threw a load into the washing machine and the darn drain got
covered up in the utility tub and i noticed my floor was covered in water
it was a mess, i literally had to soak up all the water with a towel and bucket,
im still feeling it from yesterday! i've been a jinx all week, everything i touch, breaks
why do bad things happen to good people
-
Morning!
Those three days just flew right by. I need another 3 days
I learned a lesson over the weekend, always make sure your the tractor
belt is free from debris otherwise it's a $40 lesson to be learned
-
I know.
At least i will have my pets keeping me company. Speaking of pets, one of our birds
laid eggs now just what we need, i can barely keep up with what we have already.

no plans yet, my daughter going up north with her friend's family, son will be
at a bbq with his class and since my husband opened up a restaurant a few weeks
ago, he's NEVER home so i will be all my lonsesome self

Friday is finally here! a 3 day weekend! i have so much to do around the home,
it seems like going to work will actually be easier
-
Morning!!
Why is that when the hubby isnt around, everything breaks??
This week nothing went right, just one problem after another, just two more days til the 3 day weekend,
that's the only thing that keeps me going!
-
have you been up most of the night??

Hello Commies!
I still havent shaken this head cold since last week. Each day i see a little bit of improvement.
The weather has just been amazing. I've been spending most of my free time outdoors
catching up with some spring cleaning.
I'm so looking forward to the 3 day weekend approaching.

All done here!! had the ceremony today, everything went beautiful!!! what a wonderful day this was!! The hall was packed with people, the news was there taking
photos and interviews. I'm so glad that we can finally put all of this immigration process behind us now. What a relief!!
Our 6th wedding anniversary will be approaching next week and this year we will be celebrating with my U.S. Citizen husband
