I would be applying for K-1 visa at US embassy in Qatar. "Police Clearance Certificates (PCC)" from all the countries where I have lived for more than 6 months needs to be submitted during the K-1 visa interview at the consulate is one of the requirements.
I have few questions regarding the PCC:
What category (Marriage or Immigration?) should you mention while apply for PCC as the PCC is required for the K-1 nonimmigrant visa?
Is it mandatory to first obtain PCC from your home country's embassy before applying for PCC from "Qatar CID"?
Once you obtain all the PCCs, is is mandatory to get it ATTESTED from the "Ministry of Foreign Affair - Qatar"?
What is the VALIDITY of the PCC once you obtain it?
How many months or weeks before your K-1 visa interview that one should apply and obtain the PCCs?
