I saw on my immigrant visa ( IR 1)

There is a not that say " UPON ENDORSEMET SERVES AS TEMPORARY I-551 EVIDENCING PERMANENT RESIDENCE FOR 1 YEAR"

Why they put that's not on my immigrant visa? It means I only have permanent residence for 1 year, and i have to apply again?

Hello, I am equal to you, and I arrived to the USA in 22 December of 2007, I called the imigracao and they informed me that this and a provisual Green card for one year, and that in this period the Green card will be sent to an endereco that was informed in the DS 3032. there are no reasons for to be preoccupied. Brasília, 7de novembro de 2007 -- O caixa do Citibank que recebe o pagamento das taxas de requerimento de vistos na Seção Consular em Brasília ficará fechado até 10 de janeiro de 2008.

Todos os solicitantes terão que pagar as taxas de requerimento de vistos em qualquer agência do Citibank, em Brasília, antes vir à Seção Consular.

Solicitantes que não tiverem pago as taxas antecipadamente não serão admitidos à Seção Consular na Embaixada.

Informações Sobre o Pagamento da Taxa de Visto

A Embaixada dos EUA gostaria de informar ao público que todos os passaportes com vistos só são devolvidos aos solicitantes via Sedex.

Solicitantes não mais poderão retornar à Embaixada para apanhar seus passaportes. O envio de Sedex para a área de Brasilia custa R$ 13,00 que devem ser pagos no serviço de entrega de correspondências disponível na sala de espera da Seção Consular.

Passaportes de solicitantes cujos vistos são recusados são devolvidos ao término da entrevista.
