  1. Hi everyone, so I was able to access a copy of the letter through my uscis account. They are terminating my i-90 application because no fee was paid and because I indicated the card was never delivered and they can see it in the system that USPS delivered it back in October. I was never even given an opportunity to pay the fee!! And when i went for my infopass appointment to get a stamp in the passpord, I asked the officer to check why the fee was not required. He checked and confirmed that his system does't say any fees are outstanding.

The letter then said this "You may file a new Form I-90 with the correct fees and supporting documentation, and indicate that the reason for filing is that your card was lost, stolen or destroyed.".

This is incredibly frustrating. Do you think going for an infopass appointment will help resolve this issue ? Not even sure i can get infopass now in the middle of the pandemic. Should i just refile and say it was stolen? that means another year of waiting at least, probably much longer with the financial troubles USCIS is having right now and because of covid.

  2. Hi everyone,

My i-485 employment based petition was approved back in October 2019, and I got an update that the card was produced and was provided a tracking number. However, USPS never delivered it but claims they did.. So i waited a month to see if it turns up and then filed my i-90 form to replace the GC. They didn't ask me to pay the fee for some reason and sent me a letter saying they are reusing my biometrics. So i got an infopass appointment and received i-551 stamp in my passport which expires this coming November. Then covid happened and I anticipated even longer delays in processing my I-90 application.

Yesterday, I received an update from myuscis.gov that they sent me a letter. What letter? Can anyone guess what it can be ? Can they revoke my GC for any reason ?? I'm very anxious now.. seems like my journey with USCIS is never ending. Can it be that they are asking me to pay the fee which is fine I get it even though it's unfair as I never got the original GC in the first place. Just my mind goes to that it can be a letter of intent to deny.. Please help
