So, I’m Jade and I entered on a K1 visa last month and married my now husband Jacob. Jacob is the U.S citizen. Who the heck fills out the dreaded I-944 form. 
 

We are both performers.. typically for Disney cruise line (yay and have lost our jobs) so his parents sponsored me for the original affidavit of support. We are still planning to use them for the I-864 form, but are confused about who fills the I-944 form out.

I attended my interview on Tuesday (01/09) and was granted my IR1 visa. They took my passport and advise it would be back with me in around 2-3 weeks. I was not advised I needed to provide anything further. 

 

I just logged into CEAC to check the status and it currently states Administrative Processing. Does this simply mean they are preparing my Visa or should I be concerned?

 

It was previously showing as Ready

just wondering how long you were held in AP for assuming your status on CEAC has turned to ISSUED by now? I’m in AP as of the 15th September, but as naturally getting worried as I’ve seen a lot of people say their AP took less than 24 hours 😬

Hey patient people!!

I had my interview 8th September, Medical also the 8th September, Consulate received medical on the 14th September, Moved to Administrative Processing on the 15th and nothing since. How long should I expect to be in AP for?

I have an interview on September 8th and my medical September 8th. I’m wondering if anyone here has any guide about how long it takes for the medical results to arrive and process at the consulate?
