Agree - it’s not fair to compare visa types because the total numbers could be different (maybe more marriage visa applications in general thus more approvals). Though it does look like fiancé visa processing started later than the other two. But it returns to a level similar to before March 2020. 
 

Medical exams are done outside of the process at a hospital so not really a barrier I think. 
 

Would love to see the backlog stats. I recently got asked If I’ve called my congressperson haha - is there anything anyone can do? 

Is anyone trying to hear back on extending the validity of the I-129? Ours expires at the end of the month but I’m sure we won’t get an interview before then. I’ve read extension is possible and we’ve emailed to ask but they just aren’t answering the question (a generic auto response instead).

Hi all, my partner is waiting on his interview letter but after reading more online I’m wondering if we’re supposed to book an interview ourselves somewhere? Our last letter was from NVC in the beginning of March (this month), when they were sending the case to the embassy. I’ve now seen online the case is “ready” at the embassy for the interview. 
 

I’d be happy to hear about your experiences booking the interview (or receiving the date?) and processing times. 

This might be a broad question but what kind of evidence does USCIS often ask for if RFE? I’m leaving the US on Friday to stay over a month with my fiancé and worried I may have to respond from outside the US. I read something about biometrics - is that or anything else I can’t just print and mail ever required of the petitioner?
