I cant even reach her now and I am super worried.

It sounds like her best move would be to return to the Philippines and take her son with her.

Since they got the little girls US citizenship filed before she came here can she simply return to the Philippines? Can he file kidnapping on her? She is willing to stay in US so he can have visitaion but she does not know if she will get deported since she has only been married one month. what a mess

Poor girl does not a one red cent now for a attorney nor does she have a way to get to one.

We have a pinay friend who had a child in the Philippines with her U.S. boyfriend. She had a more than above average life there and did very well for herself on her own. He pushed her and pushed her to come here on a K1 visa and them unite the family as a whole. She was so reluctant because she was nervous he would just take the child from her once here. Finally after much persuation she agreed for him to file a k1 visa. It was quickly approved and she came here to the US. Everything seemed fine other than a few minor things. The 90 days was growing to a end and she decided to move forward with marriage and be a family. Within days after the marriage he completely changed : Screaming and yelling at her, raising his fist, helling at he rin public, mocking her , not buying her or the child the things they need nor giving her any access to money to get her personal needs. Went so far as to scream at her in public for wanting toothpaste ask why she needs that ? Is she going to eat it he said. He has completely isolated her now and he laves out of town for days and week at a time with her no way around or any funds for nothing. He is telling her if she goes back to Philippines he will file kidnapping on her for the child or if she goes anywhere in USA as well. He has his mother guarding her and her every move. She is now falling to pieces. Can he take the child from her if she returns to Philippines? Can she be deported from USA since she has only been married for one month here? He does not want her to work or do anything. He refuses to help her move forward with any other documents. Her greatest fear was he just wanted her here so him and his mother could take that baby girl. I think she was right. Please help.

Im having trouble finding out to get a Police Request letter from the US Embassy Manila for Japan.

My fiancee worked in the past in Japan. We know we need this Police certificate and the Japan Embassy allow Rona to fill out apllication and to get finger prints done but said they will not frward it to Japan to complete without a request letter from US EMB. When we call US Embassy Manila they say they wont give request letter to just show her appointment letter and where she worked in Japan. Japan Embassy will not accept this. HOW can we get this request in advance of our interview date. Thanks so much James

We got our hardcopy NOA2 approval Dec 6 and notice that our package was being sent to Manila within the week that follows. How will know when it gets there? Should I call? How long before I should expect Rona to recieve her package.

I hired a Visa Service called APVISA which has pretty much abandon me and cannot get any answer from Alex there other than generic copy paste stuff from some document somewhere. No real life answers. I feel on my own and in the dark so please help us with this. James and Rona

u have to have ur fiance call the NVC and get ur case number.

then if u have the case number..

Either call the us embassy via (02)301-2000 local 5184 & 5185 to check if the embassy has already documented ur papers..(coz, it doesnt matter if they already received it...they have to document it first b4 they can process it) OR check your case online at http://203.177.135.10/ivappointment/login.asp...

Ok thanks so much for your reply. I found out that they have had it since the dec 14th. Also found out we have an appointment for interview on Feb 08 like many others of you at 6:30 am. The lady Grace also informed me we needed to pay a Document Research Fee of P650 that Rona would have to handle there in the Philippines and it involves texting codes there. here is the link for that http://usembassy.state.gov/manila/wwwfdelb.pdf Well we are handling that now.

So guess my next questions are about her son -- we included him in the original paper work but nothing ever mentions him. How do I need to address him in this process? Does he too need a medical and what all else?? He is 7 years old. How do we setup for a medical appointment? Thanks everyone for your answers. Here is what I need answers to:

1. Two days after recieving NOA2 hard copy I recieved a letter saying that my packet is being sent to Manila. So I take it that is from NVC. So how long days it take for it to get there?

2. How will I know when it is recieved?

3. How do I then go about setting up interview date?

4. Is it true that Manila has no packet 3? so should we not expect that?

5.Just give me general run down of events from this point thaty I am at. I really need to have idea of what to except and how soon in order to plan for it. Thanks so much.... I AM SO EXCITED!!!
