*List all the address(es) of the residence(s) of which you have lived since when you turned 16

*No gaps and dont mark NA or leave it blank at all with months or years you were unsure of the dates (approx.)

*Write PRESENT on the TO space for your current address

*If you need more spaces to write all the information, attach a separate sheet with the Q#

*Double check your work and make a copy of the DS230

Wow...congratulations! Don't worry about the message now, what's important is that your case has been completed and is on its way to your consulate after the interview has been set by NVC with them!!!

Administrative Process mainly deals with document verification (authenticity) and most importantly background checks. You may have indicated your visits and stays in the US and some other countries, and it's just logical for them to do that. They may have also found the same name with a character record from their database that committed a crime that made that person ineligible to travel the US. In other words, same name but not the same person going through the legal immigration process.

As long as you have not committed any crimes in and out of Canada and all your documents prove your true identity, then there is nothing to worry about.

If you are using the James Shortcut, your timeline will look like this...

7-10 days from IV bill generation you will receive your IV Bill (12/19)

You send it Next Day Air (12/20)

Once received, it takes 2 days posting (12/28)

>>> Note: 12/24 and 12/25 is a holiday

Once IV Bill is posted, it takes about 3-4 weeks for the DS230 Generation (01/19)

>>> Note: Once you know that the DS230 is generated, send in all the DS230 information (Forms and documents)

Send it Next Day Air (01/21)

It takes about 5-7 days for it to be received and posted by NVC (01/28)

It may take 2-3 weeks for review, normally 10-14 days without RFE (02/10)

It seems to me that if my timeline prediction is correct, you will have a March interview. The point of the matter here is that you make sure that they get your DS230 and all documents approved by Feb 10th (cut off time), for them to include your application for the next month's interview (March)

what question number are you referring about on DS230?

Just sending back packet 3 for the I-130 - on the Applicant's Statement is asks if I will be applying "alone", together with my spouse" - my spouse will be attending the interview with me - does this mean I check "together with my spouse". Not sure if they are referring to the acutal application or the interview. Help! thanks in advance!

It takes 2 days for posting by NVC after receipt of the IV bill, and then it takes about 7-10 days for them to cash the MO. Then, it will take at least 1-2 (sometimes 3) weeks for the DS230 generation. Good luck!

Good news you guys, I just called and spoke with an NVC operator and she told me that the IV fee bill was actually received and processed on 11/28 and to disregard the letter sent out on 11/29. So now I am just waiting for them to generate the DS-230. Yeah

Does anyone know how long they take to enter the IV bill in the system? According to info I received on 12/6 from the operator, they received the fee on 11/28. Does anyone know how to find out if the MO was cashed?

You would consider using I-864EZ if you are using just your own salary. You won't be able to use co-sponsors or assets or self-employment information on the I-864EZ.

I am doing finishing touches on the I864 before sending it out and I have a dumb question. Like the USCIS forms (I130 for example), if something could not be filled out, we were not to leave it blank and had to fill in NA. Is that the same case as the I864? I'm speaking specifically about the assets section (as one example) as I do not plan to use assets. So do I leave it blank, fill everything in with an NA or put a 0 in there since it deals with money? I know in sections where it requests the A number or my husband's social security number, I'm leaving that blank as adobe acrobat wants thsoe in a certain format since I'm filling mine out on the computer and will print it out.

Figure it this way, the way the NVC sets up the K-1 cases is to first assign MNL for Manila and the 500 plus the julian date thus comes up the number 820. The last three digits is where the case was assigned to Manila on that day so if it was 023 that would indicate it was the 23rd case assigned for whatever julian date 320 is.

What date is julian date 320?

320 = November 16.

mel_keikilani and Eternal Love, if you look at rjpolo78 posts on the November approvls waiting for interview thread, there has been 820s and some 830s with interview dates. I hope you get a date real soon!!

Since your forwarding date is November 21 my guess is it went out on the next DHL shipment. NVC had a DHL pickup on November 21.

The 820 is the combination of 500 plus the julian date of 320 so it is 820

i had the 1st day of medical exam today. it went smoothly, very fast i think coz i really didn't wait. me and sis mylene (jan 4 interview) arrived there around 1PM and finished around 3.15 PM. the SLEC people were also nice. but i guess, you should always smile at them say thank you. use your charm a lot coz i over used mine. hehehe.

i was told to be back for the result tomorrow 1.30PM but i plan to arrive there around 11AM.

im gonna post my medical experience on friday. i hope and pray that everything will be ok tomorrow.

It's a good thought to always provide USEM with fresh and new documents at the time of your interview.

Once your case is completed by NVC, the last thing they will do will be interview set up by NVC with Delhi embassy. Call DOS or the Delhi consulate will be 2 sites you will be calling next.
