Thx for answers...we did planning to do taxes here married filling jointly, but clerics that we went ask for my earnings before residency in usa didnt know if I should or should not include it.
I did pay taxes in Germany, and even over pay them coz there is law if your spouse dont live with you or at same country then they tax you as single.

Hey all,
Hubby and I preparing documents for filling tax return for 2020 and we didnt get any clear answer regarding my earnings before I got my visa. If anyone can help I would be so grateful.
I came in USA in September 2020 and since then I didnt had any overseas earning, but I was working till my last day in Europe. Should I or should I not report my earnings before I become LPR??

I wouldn't worry about it coz your housband already passed consular processing and if they didnt question in that at that time then I m pretty sure they wont do it now.
I m born Croatian( interview in Germany coz I was resident) and at my interview co was interested on impact war made on me, he never question what my father was doing back then...but still if they asked he need give honest answer

When my wife (beneficiary) did her medical exam and vaccinations in her country, the doctor advised her to wait 3 months before any planned pregnancy. Now she is here in the U.S. and the doctor here said that she does not have to wait between current vaccinations (MMR and Varicella) and pregnancy. Was anyone here advised by their doctor similarly/differently? Thank you
Yeah, same advice I got from my family doctor

I was wondering if they hold your passport until they receive your missing docs, or if you take it back with you and mail it back to them.
For me they hold it...but I was approved 3 days after they recive my medical...and that was in September...

Hi Guys, we just passed our interview today in Frankfurt. 😃 Our visa journey is done, good luck everyone!!!
Below is my time line: with some new updates this week
10/28/2019 - Send out package
11/1/2019 - Received NOA1
02/10/2020 - Case transferred from TSC to VSC
08/11/2020 - Received NOA2
04/14/2020 - Received Welcome letter through email from NVC with case number and Invoice ID
08/17/2020 - Paid fees
08/24/2020 - Submitted Form I-864, DS-260 and all supporting documents
09/09/2020 - NVC notified us, our case is done and current transferring to Frankfurt Germany consulate for interview.
09/21/2020 - Received an email NVC saying " immigration appointment cancelled - Frankfurt"
09/25/2020 - Received an email from NVC saying “case expedited”. We did not actually request an expedite. My guess is that NVC transferring our case to Frankfurt Germany and Frankfurt will schedule interview directly.
09/25/2020 - Our NVC account "YOUR CASE IS CURRENTLY AT: " changed to "Frankfurt"
10/09/2020 - Received interview date from Frankfurt consulate for 10/28/202010/28/2020 - We passed the interview within 5 minutes. Now waiting for to pick up the passport.

Hi all, I had my medical on Oct 15 and my interview on Oct 20 (Frankfurt). The status of my visa online says "refused". I think this is because my medical results are not processed yet. But first it had an Oct 20 date, and then they updated the case today (it says today's date) but it's still "refused". No email from them or any indicator why it's refused (I think there's no reason for it to be - no missing documents, no drug or criminal record, etc.). Has anyone else had this happen? It made me a bit nervous that they updated the date to today's date but still left it as "refused". Thanks.
Dont worry abt it...they probably didnt had your medical at time of interview( if so then officer told you that).. if you werent refused at time of interview then your status will change after they recive medical

We arrived in March and my husband didn't get his SSN until September, and that's because we scheduled an appointment with our local social security office. They only gave him the appointment because I got a job and he needed the number right away to get health insurance.
They told us that otherwise, if you don't hear anything after 6-8 weeks, they are telling new immigrants to file the SS5 form and send in their green card and passport as identification. I did not want to send his only 2 forms of legal ID through the mail, so I looked for a way to get the appointment. Hopefully you can reach someone at your local office and maybe get an appointment.
Thx for info...I will try get them tomorrow...actually I got job offer and employment letter hope that will help

Right now, its at NVC. I completed the affidavit of support online at Rapid Visa. From what I understand, they will be setting a date for interview at Chinese consulate in China. I lost my job after doing the affidavit of support, I am getting $2500 a month on unemployment, do they count that as income
Hey sorry to hear you lost job...
We had diverse situation from you...my housband in past 3 years was reciving workers compesation due his work injury and 3 surgeries... Rapid visa advice us to get joint sponsor even tho we were at Nvc DQ...this year he started at new work and we were approved without joint sponsor...even with cr1 visa they looking current income for approval

Last Friday I had my interview in Frankfurt embassy. Everything went well and they kept my passport but I received the 221g slip because they said that they need the W2 to be uploaded even though that I have already done on the NVC website, so that means they have it. So I have uploaded it again, should I send it via courier or email also ? Guys who already went through the same thing. What should be done? I know that things now may take a while .
Hey just send by email if he requested like that...you may send aditional mail to check if they got it...embassy in Frankfurt always reply on mails, if not same day then next day

just curious - did you request for NVC expedite? We did get our request for expedite approved but nothing is happening for a month already.
However - Happy for you about the appointments
Hopefully the rest gets theirs soon too. Fingers crossed.
Thx 🙂
I never request for expedite coz both hubby and I assumed things will go faster when other visas are banned...
Hope all get date soon 🤗

We just received our interview date for Sept 11. We're trying to scramble and get a medical appt now.
I'm just a bit confused because on the U.S Consulate Frankfurt page it states what documents are required to bring to the interview.
Yet, on the email it states differently? They have a few different requirements of what to bring. I had written them an email weeks ago regarding this, and they told me to bring whats on the website. So now I have to write them back and confirm again.I got same date

Just quick update...I just receive my interview date
