I am late joining this post, but I wanted to share that my N400 was recommended for approval on Nov 2. My interview went well, It was really informal but I think that depends on the interviewer. He anticipates my oath ceremony to be in Dec.

Did u have any problems with the immigration officer when you visited her while ur case was pending?

no problem with the immigration officer....they were all polite and curtious

I was thinking about you on Tuesday, but was unable to post to wish you goodluck because I was very busy at work and only posted it yesterday.

Have you decided how you were going to handle leaving your job with the OPM? Do they know about your pending plans to immigrate?

no i did not get the visa same day...they it will take two weeks for me to get it

first things first thank you guys .....about my interview it was rtather short...my wife got the oppertunity to come with me bcuz...she came for my birthday on the 25 may...i personally believe the fact that she was their made it easier...they simople ask me who we met and how did i propose?....she didnt looked at any of my hundreds of picture, nor phone reocrds, nor insurance policies,nor travel record.....she looked at nothing....i think the biggest thing they looking for is sincerity....we got only two questions...that it....

for thoose who ask about what i will do with my job here not sure yet...wifey pressureing me....but i will work some thing out...we will probably be together for good by august/september....

Will i be penalized, when it time for AOS to permanent residency... if as a K3 Visa holder i live outside the US with my Wife(she a US citizen).....i will be back at six months intervals to avoid any compliplication but we both work outside US in Jamaica....I have a great job here......so pleae let me know....

i am a jamaican....i have a non-immigrant(visitors) visa....my CR-I Visa process is almost complete, only interview looming...my question....can enter the US after receiving CR-I and return to jamaica without getting my green card(job in jamaica dont allow so much time off) ...will this act jeperdizing my CR-I Visa process...i have a very good job in jamaica, not ready to leave....but i will like to have the option of a green card...and leave when i feel like...let me know if i can leave without getting the card on my non imigrant visa or another process

The concept of "gay" vs. "straight" is not a category in the Blble, there is only male and female. So, no, there are no "gay" people in the Bible. Homosexual acts are clearly forbidden in several places in the Bible, and there is no Biblical basis for the idea that people are homosexual because God made them that way.

This is all about Jamaicans embassy-its my view that NVC assigned an interview based on the date your case has been completed....the person i see getting interview dates for march and April, all having cases completed in Late November and December...i am yet to see a IR/CR visa which was completed this year(2008) get a date.!!!!!!!!!!!...let pray for our sake that this trend stops

Why does Jamaican Embassy take up to 3 month to schedule an interview...can any shed some light on that for me?....Keep in mind they just completed a huge building only last year...itrs really big....so why the long wait?

thank god for carring us this far...family just pray for us that we might get an interview soon....Jamaica's embassy look really backed up...but i will be praying...all the best to all my family and i hope and pray your journey come to end soon...

Is the DS-230 form available on this site....which states it expires on 7/31/2007....can it be use or is it obsulete(JSC)...need reply from anyone who uses it after July
