Hello,
I'm married to a USC. He has a prior marriage to another USC, and they had 2 children, who are also USC. The ex-wife has majority custody and my husband pays child support. I am trying to file for US citizenship.
For my case, under the 'your family' section, should I list these step children or not?
If I list them, then in the evidence section it asks for evidence for being the parent of the children (birth certificate, adoption papers or court order for becoming a parent). I don't have any of these as I am not the guardian of the children.
This seems to imply that I do not have stepchildren?

yes we do have all of those papers, and we don't list them on our taxes as dependents (because their mom does)
