I have a F1 visa interview on August 3. In FAQ which was updated on July 15, it says

"Initial students currently in the United States that have reported to their school should be made Active in SEVIS and follow the guidelines the school provides to all its F and M students related to COVID-19. If Initial students have not arrived in the United States, they should remain in their home country."

Does this mean the first year students who recently had F1 visa issued are going to be rejected to enter the US?

The US embassy in Seoul is now accepting passport renewal appointments, although there is no notice given regarding this on the site. I just got an appointment to renew my little boy's passport in late July.

Passport update would be citizen service. So not much news on non-immigrant visa interviews...

While family-based AOS is pending (from H1B), could the beneficiary start a full time graduate program?
