  1. A few years ago I changed on of my last names during the naturalization process. I petitioned my wife and a lawyer handed me a questionnaire, there was no previously names used question in there.I didn't think even they asked that question since I never filled out the form. Her visa just got issued and she will pick it up soon. Do you guys think if the immigration officer at the port of entry  finds out that I the petitioner, unintentionally omitted my previous name used will deny her entry? on the DS-260 says the law firm and who filled out my application on my behalf if that is of any consolation. 😕

I have such a clean record and I work for several military bases and high security jails so I have nothing to hide. It just something slipped between the cracks. Do you think that is something that will make the officer deny her entry? she is been truthful and our relationship is 100% real and other than that we have always told the truth. I was just looking at an original DS-260 now and that particular question made me worried because it was never on the lawyer questionnaire.

Do you guys know if my lawyer and come to her interview art the port of entry? have you guys heard of CR1 spouses getting denied entry? how common is that? are the officers harsh on their questioning or they just put the stamp and let you go through?
