hello visa journey members,
i received a date for an interview and the letter with the supporting documents i need to bring for the interview. I have few questions:
1) can i just bring copies for the taxes from the last 3 years or i need to go to an IRS office and get them from there?
2)and for the marriage certificate it says should be issued from a civil authority, can i bring my first original one i got when we got married, or i need to go and get a recent one from city hall.
3) i want to have dual citizenship, but i heard they might take my other country passport, is that true? i checked my country allows dual citizenship. Is there a way i could keep it?
thank toy in advance for your help !!!

hello everybody,
USCIS received my papers on December 1st, and i ve been waiting to receive my letter for biometrics. today i checked my status online and i saw that on Dec 20 th they sent me a letter for request for additional evidence. i havent received the letter yet, probably tomorrow. But i m freaking out because i thought i sent enough evidence. I sent the form N400, all the tax returns for the past 3 years, birth certificate, marriage certificate, joint checking account, joint auto insurance, bills, 2 photos, and now they want more evidence...i sent everything i had... i have no idea what else i can add to this...and i m so scared
Has anybody been in a similar situation, getting RE before even getting biometrics, if yes i would like to hear your stories...
thank you

hello everybody,
i sent my n 400 form but i just read that when you put the A number on the top if each page if its less than 9 numbers i should put 0 in the front. mine is with 8 numbers and i didnt put a zero in front.
is that gonna be a problem???

i m wondering how should i send all my papers. i have a cover letter in the front and all the rest of the forms. my question is how should i send it, just in an envelope, or put them in a binder first, or attach them together.

Hello visa journey members,
i m filling the N400 form and i m having a question about Part 8, G part. How many times has your current spouse been married? he never been married before, so he s been married only to me. Should i put 0( because he hasnt been married before we got married) or 1( because he s currently married to me)? i m not quite sure :/
sorry for the stupid question, but dont wanna make a mistake.
thanks

hi, i m very confused... when exactly can i apply for a Naturalization?
it says:
Be a permanent resident (green card holder) for at least 3 years immediately preceding the date of filing Form N-400, Application for Naturalization.
i have 2 years conditional green card, and now i got my 10 year permanent .... so i have to have 3 years permanet green card, or it could be 3 years from first becoming a resident, even though it was conditional the first 2 years.
-
thanks, so i guess i should be fine, i ll call USCIS on monday to make sure.
-
hi,
but when i started doing my removing of conditions i received a letter from them which authorize me to work and travel for one year... till my case is in process...

hi everybody,
i m going to my country next week, and of course the paranoia is coming every time i leave usa.

My question is what i need in order to travel,
my expired green card and the letter?
is that all, so scared to leave the country for a month with expired GC

hi everybody,
i had my biometrics on june 6, and when i check the case status online it said this:
Application Type: CRI89, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED
i m surprised, i thought its supposed to be I-751 form, not CRI89....
any help here...
