  1. Thank you so much everyone. Yes, it is so nice to hear that there are successful marriages with our MENA men!! We did have a few red flags but my hubby was very prepared at his interview and I think they had decided he was approved before his interview. They looked at none of his evidence and he was approved within 10 minutes!!

    Congrats to all of you still happily married and to those of you still waiting on your husbands and boyfriends to arrive I wish you long and happy marriages. (F)

  2. Hello All,

    Haven't posted much at all but my husband and I did use Visa Journey often when we were going thru our own journey. I just wanted to say Merry Christmas to everyone and Good Luck on your journeys. Tomorrow will be 4 years since my husband entered the USA. Have been married since May 1st,2007. Our personal visa journey took 15 months with no REF's or AP. He is now a citizen and our marriage is still strong as ever. We are still very happy together and I couldn't ask for a better husband!!!! Thanks for reading....

  3. To those of you wondering. Yes they kept Ammar's passport and they called him on the 5th and told him to come pick up his visa.!!! No AP.

    Ammar said the man that interviewed him seemed to be new. He couldn't speak Arabic but Ammar wanted his interview in English anyway. The consular asked about my job, wanted to see our phones bills and chat logs and wanted to know and see what was the last thing I sent to Ammar by mail which just happened to be a card he had received a week before the interview. That was about it. Said it was a very easy interview with few questions.

    Good luck to those still waiting~

  4. I would wait too. We did the same thing because our attorney filed for both the I-129F & the I-130 and we were

    told we would have a choice on which petition to persue. After we learned so much more we wanted to go with the

    I-130. We were approved in 2 months but that is with an expidited request approved.

    I think if you start all over it will take you much longer than just waiting on the I-824 to be approved.

  5. Ok. I have a question and I would like your opinions. I have a tattoo on my lower back. Actually it's very beautiful;

    it is arabic writing with my husband's first name and below that the words faith, hope, & love. Of course my husband will take lots of photo's whenever he has his interview but do you all think he should include this picture with the others? He loves my tattoo and is so proud that I actually have his name on me!! It was his idea that I get some feedback from you all. What do you think?

    Thanks for your replys..

  6. HI Everyone!!

    I thought we would never get approved.

    Good Luck to everyone waitng on their NOA2!!! Seems things are happening now.

    And I had no touches at all since June on the I-129F and only 1 touch on the I-130 in Oct. 5th
