Hello and thanks for checking out my post. I’m currently a permanent USA Resident. A couple years ago I applied for my N-400 to become a US Citizen, took my exam, passed, and was denied a year later due to my mother being accused of ‘marriage fraud’. The Immigration officer came to this conclusion due to the fact when my biological parents divorced they each married Cubans, and received their permanent status in the process as they were both on Visas at the time. I received Permanent Residence status VIA my mother hence why I was denied my N-400. My parents are still legally married to their partners, and have been living with them for over 10 years. When my N-400 was denied I never appealed, and when my Permanent Resident card expired I fortunately was able to renew it last year.
Which brings me to the question, where do I go from here? I still want to become a Citizen. Should I apply for my N-400 again? Will they bring up the fact my first application was denied and deny me again? Would it be a good idea if I show up with a Lawyer or Attorney? I’m in a position where I don’t know what course of action to take and it pains me having to go through this alone. If anyone has any advice on this matter you’d be helping me tremendously.Did you or your mothr know they were accused of "marriage fraud" before you been denied? I am asking if you know it before or the Officer they just find it when you are submitting the application.

I have done lots of research in VJ and a lot of people here are very descent person and they really gave me a lot of advice and experience.
And I go through even the M467, there are no guide lines to explain the detail of traffic tickets and parking tickets.
As I know the speeding tickets gave by police officer are definately needed to be listed. But how about speeding tickets by camera eventhough they are not in the driving record?
And so on, it is very embarrassed taht if you chose "yes" to "Have you EVER been arrested, cited, or detained by any law enforcement officer", at the last page of your application summary, there will be content below:

Looks correct the way you have it. Paying the ticket means you accept/acknowledge the citation that you were speeding and paid the penalty.
Here is what I did and it worked for me.
Q - Why were you arrested cited, detained, or charged?
A - Traffic ticket for speeding.
Q - Outcome or disposition of the arrest, citation, detention, or charge (no charges filed, charges dismissed, jail, probation, etc.)
A - I paid the traffic ticket.
That is very helpful information! Thank you very much!
I have 3 tickets for speeding. The other 2 were caught by a camera, but they are not on my driving record. Do you think I also need to list them or just don't do anything about this?

If it's within 5 to 10 years you can find the court case record online in clerks/counties website which will say "Paid". Take that print out with you. You may also call them and see if you can get some type of receipt that said you paid for it.
Anyway, since you already have a certified driving record that could suffice because your license would get suspended in 6-12 months depending on the state for unpaid traffic ticket.
Thank you very much!!
May I ask If I just paid the ticket immediately, should I just write "no charges filled" in outcomes?

I have chosen "Have you ever been arrested, CITED, or detained by............" by YES for my traffic ticket.
Follow up I need to describe the outcome. ANd I really have no idea how to write it, I just pay the penalty after I get to home.
Should I just write "no charges filed"?

For example, no charges filed, charges dismissed, jail, probation, or another outcome. What should I do, I was speeding driving at that time , then the policemen come ut and gave me a ticker, then I go home and paid it. -

Dear all
SOme questions about N-400 filling online.
I have some speeding ticket and parking ticket for last 5 years.
I have paid the penalty, but do not know which option is pointed on this issue, pls see attachment and help me out of this.
BYW, does anyone know can I leave the USA to travel after I filling the N-400 and befroe my interview? how long I can stay outside of the USA during this period?
Why were you arrested, cited, detained, or charged?

As mentioned above, you need to select "Yes" to "have you ever been arrested, cited or detained.." if you have traffic citations. At the end it will ask you to upload proof.
If you have the receipts that shows you've paid the tickets you can upload it along with your driving record or if you don't want to upload you can just mention that you paid the ticket (which is what I did) and take receipts and your driving record to the interview. IO will ask to see proof that you've taken care of the tickets.
What if I can not find my receipt of the payment?

The second question "Have you ever been arrested, cited or detained" the key word there is Cited---- speeding and parking tickets not exceeding $500.....IMO i picked yes even though my one speeding ticket was less than the amount. I included by receipt for payment and driving record ( official record can be obtained from your state DMV website).
I just printed out my drive record, there a=is only one on it which I was pulledo ver by the policeman, but not the other 2 which caught by the camera.

I wouldn't put "manager" unless you're a manager. What are the other options?
That is confused. I can not find any word to fit my occupation, I think the only choice is occupation not defined.

Dear all
I am a Real Estate Agent, so what is my OCCUPTION?

Hello guys, I want to ask how to fill the "School and Employment" part of the N400.
THis is my situation, for last 5 years, I have different Self-employment works. DO I need to list them all, Or list an approximate time period to cover five years?
Because the N 400 do not need you to list the employer's name, and bussiness address is always my home address.
BTW, what is the occupation about a Real Estate Agent?

You need to file every single address you've "lived" at, even if it was only for a short time.
That's clear, thx!

@ all
I just tried my best to recall/research the AR-11 history of my last 5 years. As we all know, the road for immegration is hard, I just realized that we need to change the address to uscis in 10 days when we change our address very late.
I came to US in May 2015, which my address is in Los Angels. then I moved to seattle in January 2016. I lives in familie's and friends home. Then I move to my own condo which I bought by myself in OCT 2016.
I live here until now. But I only submitted AR-11 Last year. When I am filing the N-400, I suppose to file all of my address history

**Similar threads merged; OP is trying to find address history via AR-11 address changes**
Did you try this website and did it work?
yes, I typed in the receipt number of my AR-11 receipt. And I can find the address change which happened last year. but for the other address changes, I can not recall and can not find out the receipt.

Go ahead and send an AR-11. Attach a note: "Apologies if I've filed this already" or similar.
I think this is not a good idea.
I need the information to file the N-400.

Above is the address which can find your AR-11history by using the confirmation number.

I just forget if I did change before(AR-11), I can only recall one because I have the receipt
Just want to make sure there is no mistake when I am filing the N400.
There are 1 question:
1. Is there anyway to find out the filing history of ar11 by using my name, A number or something else in uscis website?

Oh, can anybody help?

Regardless how long the GC took for you to physically get in your hands, the date it has on it should be the day you gained LPR status. So, as long as that date on the card is accurate, that's correct, that's the day you became an LPR.
Just found out the pics for my passport, the date is the same on the GC and passport(entry date). it is a misunderstanding! , thx buddy!
Error on my n400 interview. What to do?
