    I-765 filing fee?

    We filed AOS a month ago with I-485, I-130, I-131, I-765, I-864, & I-944, and paid $1760. Got a rejection letter in the mail saying the I-765 form is outdated (that one's on me) and "the payment amount is incorrect, or has not been provided." But I thought if you're filing I-765 together with I-485 as part of AOS, there isn't a separate fee?

     

    I filed an I-765 a few years ago for my F-1 OPT, but since that was under a totally different category, my I-765 this time is still considered an application for an initial EAD, correct? Has anyone had the same issue?
