Is everyone in this forum done with their I-751? I'm at 34 months of waiting for I-751 and 20 months of N-400. Only option for me now seems like a Writ of Mandamus lawsuit against USCIS.

I'm in the same boat too. Filed I-751 in July of 2019 and N-400 in July of 2020. Still waiting for interview for both cases at Dallas field office too.

I think they will schedule interview once date available . Below is the exact wording my congressmen send and after 25 days I got interview .

-Your are placed into the queue for interview scheduling on January 7, Mr. XXXX will receive an appointment notice when his case is scheduled .

I received interview on Dec 3.

Just staring what I went through . These wording is not same as yours but I think your message is positive .

I hope to receive the interview soon. Thanks for the response

  3. Got this email from my local field office, after sending "outside processing time" inquiry.

"Our records indicate that your application is in pre-scheduling processing.  You will receive an interview notice at the address on file once this initial processing is complete and an interview is available."

Guys, I can't believe this. It's almost 3 years since filing I-751 and 2 years since filing N-400, and today I just got updates on both: card is being issued and interview is set up in 2 weeks. I did reach out to ombudsman and congressman both, so maybe one of those (or both) things helped speed things up. At this point, I am sure it was just stuck on the farthest shelf because people who filed way later than us are getting citizenships. I'm almost certain there are no "security checks" happening still 2+ years later; it's just a system's mistake that nobody bothers to correct. Please keep fighting; don't just sit and wait like I was for such a long time.

Hi Katiel, is your n400 interview in Dallas?

  6. I filed my N400 in July 2020, when I inquired about my case from USCIS, this is the reply I got.

"Regarding the status of your N-400, Application for Naturalization:

Your application information has been entered into the system which schedules applicants for interviews at their local Field Office. Interview appointments are scheduled as slots become available at the Field Office. Once you have been scheduled for an appointment, you will receive an Interview Appointment Notice to appear at a certain date and time at your local Field Office. You must take the Interview Appointment Notice and photo ID to your appointment. Please review the Interview Appointment Notice for any other requirements."

Have anyone received this type of message?

Me too exactly the same day..

Really. My case was originally in Texas, but later got transferred to National benefits center. I had my biometrics on December 18th 2019, on the 19th of December 2019, it changed to "Ready to be scheduled for an interview". Since then I had nothing.

I filed for citizenship on July 18th 2020, got biometrics reuse notice on January 13th, and nothing else since then.
