Major update. Interview scheduled today. Does my FOIA request worked so well, or it’s something that anyway would be scheduled today?
We’ll never know.
I believe that FOIA helped to push my file.
I requested just N-400 and i-751 files.
Not a whole A-file.
Good luck to everyone waiting

General wisdom says that your application is ready to be scheduled for an actual interview. Which may very well mean that back ground checks, file retrieval etc has been completed upto their satisfaction.
this is a good indication in my opinion.
Thanks for your input. Fingers crossed.

Got this email from my local field office, after sending "outside processing time" inquiry.
"Our records indicate that your application is in pre-scheduling processing. You will receive an interview notice at the address on file once this initial processing is complete and an interview is available."Has anyone received this type of message, and what does it mean? -
I'm still waiting. (I751 July 2019, N400 July 2020) Dallas Texas.

Yes it is!
Also, I just realized that I was posting on this thread this whole time, even though I did not file in April 2020. I filed in Jan 2020. My bad!!!
Alright. Thanks. I filed in July 2020, and Dallas is my local field office. Still waiting for interview to be scheduled. Congratulations once again.

Guys, I can't believe this. It's almost 3 years since filing I-751 and 2 years since filing N-400, and today I just got updates on both: card is being issued and interview is set up in 2 weeks. I did reach out to ombudsman and congressman both, so maybe one of those (or both) things helped speed things up. At this point, I am sure it was just stuck on the farthest shelf because people who filed way later than us are getting citizenships. I'm almost certain there are no "security checks" happening still 2+ years later; it's just a system's mistake that nobody bothers to correct. Please keep fighting; don't just sit and wait like I was for such a long time.
Hi Katiel, is your n400 interview in Dallas?

This is the automated reply. Add some random document in your account. It works magic, sometimes.
There is a spreadsheet
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1UYpuRqSQkRAdX7Kr_nehvjsjCiNTyADPJ3CAc9qJHf4/edit?usp=sharing
Fill time-line, people
Okay. I will try that. Thanks

I filed my N400 in July 2020, when I inquired about my case from USCIS, this is the reply I got.
"Regarding the status of your N-400, Application for Naturalization:
Your application information has been entered into the system which schedules applicants for interviews at their local Field Office. Interview appointments are scheduled as slots become available at the Field Office. Once you have been scheduled for an appointment, you will receive an Interview Appointment Notice to appear at a certain date and time at your local Field Office. You must take the Interview Appointment Notice and photo ID to your appointment. Please review the Interview Appointment Notice for any other requirements."
Have anyone received this type of message?

I called that same number, it put me through auto voice system. What exactly did you do to get to someone? Did you press any button/say any command to get to that or you just called that number, and it auto put you in wait for real person?
Just say "Technical support".

Me too exactly the same day..
Really. My case was originally in Texas, but later got transferred to National benefits center. I had my biometrics on December 18th 2019, on the 19th of December 2019, it changed to "Ready to be scheduled for an interview". Since then I had nothing.
I filed for citizenship on July 18th 2020, got biometrics reuse notice on January 13th, and nothing else since then.

Are you received biometric reuse? . When you applied applied in July?. Some cases are delay due to security check clearance. General observation, July 2020 filers are getting interview letters now.
Got biometrics reuse on January 13th 2021.

Congrats to you! We just received an online notification today stating that our I-751 interview has been scheduled. Filed N400 on the 8th of April, 2021 so we are guessing it's just going to be the I-751.
Congratulations on your interview. Was you case tranferred in National benefits center?

I'm in the same boat too. Filed I-751 in July of 2019 and N-400 in July of 2020. Still waiting for interview for both cases at Dallas field office too.
