I have requested in June 2020 for USCIS to expedite my I-130 cade for my minor child. I was asked to send supporting documentation on why I should get expedited. I sent that and here is there response 

Your petition will be adjudicated shortly, in the order in which it was received. You should receive a notice of action* within 180 days.

*A notice of action may be in a form of Approval Notice, Denial Notice, Transfer Notice , Request for Evidence, or Notice of Intent to Deny.

So does that mean my case will be processed in 6 months  is my expedite request accepted but now it takes at least 6 months

Hi All,

I have filed I-130 two years ago for my mother and she was done with process and come to USA on January 2020, so My question is does she need to file I-130 application for her other kids under 21 for her to petition or can she do the I-824  application petition to follow on previously approved case. I am confused I want to make sure we file the right application. and if she is eligible for both which one is faster.  Mother is Widow.

Hey I am a permeant resident I field I-130 for my daughter , sorry clarification here its my daughter not her child. I am a mother permeant resident petitioning  my daughter

Priority date 05/05/2019

Approval date 05/07/2020

So I have used online CSPA calculator and they say your CSPA age is  20years 7 month and eligible for visa so my question is do I only have 5 month to complete  the NVC process and be in the US. I am worried that I will need more than 5 months to gather all the documents due to CO
