Thanks for that! one final question then regarding fees: the mother has to pay I-130 ($675), I-485 ($1440), and I-765 fees ($260) for a total of $2375. The daughter needs to pay for I-130($675) and I-485 ($950) for a total of $1625.

Recently married and looking to sponsor wife and step daughter. step daughter is 9 years old. Will I need to file two I-130’s or is there a way for derivative on 1 form. both have legal entry with visa. forms needed to file for wife: i-130 i-485 i-765 forms needed for step daughter: i-130 i-485 am I missing anything? thank you!
