Hi. My fiancé and I filed our i129F petition last year and received NOA1 on June 5, 2020. We’re still waiting for NOA2 and are past the VJ time estimate. 
 

I filed a request for USCIS to review our case. They responded quickly via email basically saying they can’t give us a time estimate and will get to it whenever they get to it. 🥲🙃 

Is anyone else going through this? Any advice? Anything?

I was informed ours is now moving to the embassy but I didn’t bother tracking it yet because I suspect it will still show “At NVC.” I’ll track today however because I heard (unconfirmed) that some embassies don’t even tell you or the fiance when they receive it so you have to be careful not to let it sit and expire! 

That’s great news! Congrats and I wish you both good luck!  I downloaded the uscis app to check our case status easily, maybe you can check that out too?  

Another site is saying it will take between 1-3 months to go to the embassy. 🤦🏻‍♀️ We’re still waiting for NOA2 and we filed in early early June last year. It’s tough being so far for so long but you’re almost there!

So I really want to move out of state since California is super expensive and I need to save money on rent. If I move right now before receiving NOA2, do you think it’ll be okay? Does it slow down the process at all even if I change my address online? Help please!

Hello! I’m just curious in general how long the wait time typically is to go from k1 visa to green cars after marriage. Anyone know the closest estimate for California?
