So finally, my visa was with DHL but they forgot to update my ustraveldoc profile. I went there upon the instructions of the embassy to pick my passport. I learnt that anytime there’s delay, end the embassy a msg to enquire 

How long did it take you from when you had the interview to when you when to check DHL?

I was DQd in June 2020

Well, all documents were intact. The CO didn’t request any additional documents. It was AP the afternoon after the interview, then it changed to issued the next day.

Hello everyone, I attended my interview on 13-04-2022 with two other friend and we were all approved and visa issued next day. We all filled the usdoc delivery forms the same day. My friends had their visas in just 5 days but I didn’t receive mine. Is everything alright?

Hi, I am slated for an interview next month. I am told that i would need my sponsor's tax transcripts including my wife's. Is the downloadable version on IRS enough to be presented during the interview or we have to opt for the one that is mailed?

Oforiwaa, kindly, how do we expedite and what are some of the possible reasons we can give?

Were you sent an email to notify you of the case being transferred to the embassy? I’m asking because I have documentarily qualified since March and my case is still at the NVC. Did you expedite or it was a normal application?

Yh.. they sent me a letter with a new date but they said it’s subject to review due to the pandemic

Yes, absolutely.  The issue is not whether parents or friends like your decisions.  It's about whether the relationship itself is bona fide.  How much time have you spent together in person?  How many visits to see each other?  How did you meet?  What are your relative ages?

My wife is a USA citizen and my interview has been rescheduled because of the COVID 19. But I’ll need an advice as to the documents I already have and the ones I will need. I have

Your strongest evidence is going to be the evidence of time spent together in person.  Second, is examples of how and how frequently you communicate.  Affidavits from third parties can make you look desperate.  You may want to consider writing an evolution of relationship letter as well.  Accra is tough when it comes to relationship evidence.  What else do you have?

 

Hi boss, can I make my parents and my wife’s parent swear an affidavit of support? Does that make me look desperate too?
