thank you for quick reply guys, I actually file a correction of my clerical error of my birth certificate already at the local civil registrar, but it says the processing would be 6 months, and also they gave me certification that it says that birth certificate is still on process.

Right now I am still waiting for the NOA2, but my worry only if my NOA2 would arrive this month and I can get my interview this month also and my new corrected birth certificate would not yet arrive, so I hope it would not be problem

Hi Good day everyone, another inquiry again, does it give problem to Embassy if in my birth certificate has clerical error for the names of my parents, like to my father his name is Abelardo but in my Birth Certificate "Billy" ( his nickname ), and my mom Christina but in birth certificate only Cristina ( means her real name there should be "h" )?

In my passport is De la Peña, and in my birth certificate is Peña, Dela but I used Dela Peña, DFA said ever since it not happen of Peña, De la, so that's why DFA put De la Peña, but when i went to civil registrar i can have to correct the birth certificate but it takes 6 months..

Hi good day everyone , I will ask only if who are here who done their interview with have the last name of Dela Peña, Dela Cruz, or Dela cerna, and other with similar last name? I will ask for that if you don't have problem at the Embassy.

Because my last name is Dela Peña, and in my birth certificate Peña, Dela. I asked Attorney, and DFA that's only clerical error.

Another question by the way, my CENOMAR the name of my father written was Abelardo, but in my birth certificate was written Billy ( his nickname ), does it has problem in EMbassy?

Thank you for the quick reply. Yes I will need to get another NBI with AKA, I called the NBI right after posting this inquiry, they said, for sure I need to get with AKA,,even though I got NBI now but I will get again.

Have a good day all, I hope I can get an answer here coming from you who have idea and who has experienced already. This is regarding about getting AKA in NBI and Certificate of No Marriage. I read a post that one of the K1 applicant she was been under of 221(g) because her middle name was in Birth Certificate was De La Cruz but she used to have Dela Cruz only two words.

Since me and fiance still waiting for NOA2 and have got my NBI already and cenomar, I don't think so they will ask me for an AKA also,,because my last name is Dela Peña ( that is what I used ) but in my birth certificate was Peña De la, but in my passport is De la Peña

Anyone here updates about your papers submitted last July 2014? Ours, still waiting for the NOA2... the Alien Registration Number had changed already.
