My petition was accepted and I was sent a mail about my Visa being documentarily qualified since I’ve passed through all the processes and I’m just left with my interview to be scheduled. Unfortunately my petitioner who happens to be my dad passed on. He had a fiancé with whom he has a child with in the states. ( they actually lived together) Would I still be given a visa if she agrees to be my substitute? What would be the steps to follow in this case?
