Finally another March filer I130 approved. I got the email on Sunday. I still want to wish everyone that is waiting Good Luck. Hopefully they will move much faster than they did with the March filers.

You are definitely next to get approved. Try to stay positive and try to keep yourself busy. I know its extremely hard. I check the USCIS site about 10 times a day. I have everyone in my prayers. This wait is really fustrating. I don't understand why CSC is all out of order. But i'm praying that late february and all march filers get approved before this month ends. Thanks everyone for your kind words.

I'm an early March filer and still no approval. I got touched last week on the 15th. I hope that means this week I get an approval. Let's continue our prayers. Congrats to those that got approved and good luck to those that are still waiting.

Congratulations to all March Filers that have been approved this week. I"m so happy for you guys! I"m still waiting. I was touched on the 15th so I hope that I hear something next week. I also did call and was told that an officer has my case for processing. CSC did good this week. Pleeeeeeeeeeeease continue the good work. Many of us just want that approval. Have a good weekend all and hopefully next week will show more approvals.

I sent my I130 and I129 on VSC. But on I130 shows VSC address and I129 shows CSC address..

From what I understand, the I129's now go to CSC. Check the USCIS website for updates.

Does my processing date start from the time they transferred to cali, and cali received it, or does it start from the time I orig filed my 129 or got my NOA1? Any idea when I should expect something. I emailed my senators yesterday but Im not too confident

I believe your processing date begins when you sent in your I130. I believe that there is a new procedure for K3 filers where they now have to send their I129 to CSC. Maybe that's why it was transferred. I'm doing a CR1 and I"ve been waiting for approval for almost 5 months. I think that the I129's tend to get approved faster.

I've finally decided I'm going to try calling to see if I can find out anything.........which number should I call? Just the customer service # on the USCIS website? My petition is at CSC.....

call the USCIS customer service number and once you put in your receipt number it will transfer you to the CSC office. to speak to a rep you need to go via the RFE route. Good luck and keep us posted. I've called several times already and I get even more depressed when there is no change of status.

Garcia, i did not think about that. that could be an issue. it makes sense. well i hope things get better and things start moving faster. Keep your faith. It may turn out for november for you. hopefully they'll catch up and start approving within the 4 month period. Good luck to us all!

CSC may be delayed because many people sent in their applications within the last few months due to the price increase. Can you imagine going from X amountof applications to twice as many in the last few months? This is just a guess. I just filed mine and according to the timeline I may not be approved until Jan. I was hoping for Nov.

I understand how you feel. My case was transferred form VSC to CSC and from what i see on timelines, VSC is catching up to CSC. This is ridiculous. i filed early march as well and still nothing.

i only got touches when i called via the rfe trick. i'm so fustrated.

What is going on with CSC ,my I-130 has not been touched since it arrived on the desk in California ,yet ,i see people whos application arrived after mine and have got approved ! is it just a case of they pick up the nearest file ? what really pisses me off is the fact that i have already had one approved in 2003 ,why cant they use some common sense ,and accept already approved I-130 if circumstances havent changed ? no wonder there is such a backlog .

Hi everyone, I want to change my last name when my husband arrives to the US. How does one go about changing their last name in the US if they were married in another country? Does the marriage certificate need to be translated to English?
