    We had our interview today and it could not have been easier.

    We had our interview today in downtown los angeles at 12:25, but we arrived about 40 minutes early. Got to the 8th floor and they called us in 10 minutes early. Swore us in and all the officer took from us was our son's birth certificate, then told us to wait outside for 20 minutes and came back with an aproval letter. WOW didn't check anything else, I had all the copies, pictures and proof of relationship, and didn't even use it.

    Our officer was very nice and friendly, I guess the having the baby with us helped our case. But finally over with until I apply for citizenship in the 3 years. I pray that all of you have a smooth journey ahead.

    due to the extreme back log, you may want to consider e-filing.

    Poor planning on your part will not be seen as a reason to rush on their part

    You are an idiot what kind of response is that. you don't even know their situation or what they were thinking, mind your own bussiness

    Thank you for kindly pointing out my oversight, I see you have already been talked to about your violation of the TOS so I will not bring that up. But i would like to suggest to you to not rush to judge some one's intellect prior to understanding someone's journey through the immigration process. We are all learning, immigration law is a very complicated system of laws.

    Now if you really read my response, you will see that i first offered a suggestion to help.

    Perhaps I should have explained my second part better, you would not believe that amount of people going through this process that feel entitled expedited service.

    The OP took a chance on not filing for EAD and lost out. Obviously there has been some clarification on the OP's intent throughout the post.

    I understand, we filed for AOS 18 months after AOS, and we had to wait 76 days for it to be issued. It should have took 90, we are thankful for that 14 days.

    I apoligize for calling you an idiot, but I felt like you accusing them of "poor planning" was out line. I'm sorry for calling you an idiot.

    I agree with the last post, you entered with a valid visa. You are fine!! Don't worry about anything. When dating although it does lead to marriage it does not mean that you necessarily mean to marry when you got your F1.

    You entered legally, got inspected by an immigration officer. So you are fine. consult an immigration lawyer, but don't leave don't apply for a K1 visa. Just do a AOS.

    But again it's just my suggestion. Good luck on everything.

    I just got my notice for interview for November 21st. The notice date is August 28th. Finally heard something after so long. I still can't check my status online though. Hope that the rest of the july filers will start getting their interview notices soon

    06.27.07: Package sent (AOS & EAD)

    07.1.07: Package received at PO box and signed @1:46am Day 1

    07.12.07: NOA for I-130, I-485 & I-765 Day 8

    07.17.07: Biometrics Appointment

    11.21.07: Interview appointment in downtown Los angeles

    Well I haven't posted any upadates in a while, so I thought I post one. I did my Biometrics on the 17th of July and still can't see my case status online yet. So for those of you who just got your biometrics recently and can't see your case online don't worry.

    I have called the 1800 number and they said it's still pending. All I can do now is pray and be patient.

    Okay, so my biometrics appointment was scheduled for August 2nd, but I was not going to be in town that week. So I decided to drive down to the ASC in El Monte (Southern California), to try and see if I could do it sooner. And believe me I was praying hard, because I didn't want to go back or miss the appoinment and have everything delayed. Well the supervisor let me do it today July 17th. Wow!!!! Praise God!!! If you don't already pray and believe in GOd you need to start now :thumbs::innocent: Just thought I'd share that with you all.

    Hi there!

    Very new to this forum, just wanted to say hi.

    We sent our package overnight on June 28, it was received according to Fedex on June 29. The checks cleared yesterday. How long do you think it'll take to get the NOA?

    Also, I tried to decipher the case # from the back of the check but can't make any sense of it as it's all very blurry. Oh well, guess we should just wait patiently huh?
