Thanks! we have weighed up the options and decided the K1 was best for us as we still want to have a proper wedding with our families when all this has died down.

Another question though. Is okay to file all documents as copies? We were thinking of scanning and sending everything to my mom so she can then send it. Just to speed up the process as the mail is super slow at the moment.

My partner( Australian ) and I ( American ) are just beginning our K-1 visa process. We are currently living in New Zealand on working holiday visas and I intend to send in my I-129f from abroad. My concern is that right now I don't know if I have enough evidence to support established domicile in the United States. I have an active mailing address, bank accounts, own a house that is rented out. I will have a 2019 tax return statement to show as well. I guess my question is: is this going to be an issue? I intend to return to the US once my work visa in New Zealand runs out in November. Should I add this into my letter of intent or perhaps in the additional information page on the i-129f? Any advice welcome.
