I called the toll free number below. After 30-40 minute of wait, someone will pick up and take your information. Then you are placed in the line to have an immigration officer call you back in 20-30 days.

Our toll free number is 800-375-5283 (TTY 800-767-1833) and our hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm Eastern.

I called that same number, it put me through auto voice system. What exactly did you do to get to someone? Did you press any button/say any command to get to that or you just called that number, and it auto put you in wait for real person?

I am also based in Chicago, in similar situation. My I751 is Ready to be schedule an interview for an interview for 13 months now. My I797 extension letter is expiring this week. While I remain in status until adjudication. This means I cannot travel outside the country or drive as my IL driver's license is also expiring and cannot renew.

I called to make an infopass appointment to get a I-551 stamp but now they take 20-30 days for the Immigration Officer to call you back. I hope there are appointments available at the Chicago office to at least obtain a stamp.

How do you get to the real agent? I can't get through the auto answer machine.

So, I filed on December 27th 2019. Received a notice that they had recieved in in Feb 2020. Didnt hear anything back since then. Just literally checked my mail now at 11.00pm and found I have a approval letter for removal of conditions. My new greencard will be here within 60 days. So hang in there guys. The end is near!

Congrats, what center is this? Also, did you sign up for notification via email or text?

Hi, got approved with Vermont center. My timeline:

    Dec 6: mailed case

    Dec 11: case arrived

    Dec 13: received NOA

    Dec 16: check cashed

    Jan 3: received Biometric letter

    Jan 13: Biometric appointment

Early Feb: Status updated to fingerprint taken

Oct 1: New card is produced

           Total: around 10 months

I saw many cases infront and after me got approved, and I was worried how my case was skipped. Checked many times to see te green status in the evening eastern time. Good luck everyone!

Congrats, I submitted 1 day after you and my case status is still "Case was received" :(.

I think you are still within processing time. Did you speak with a tier 2 officer?. I don't think you have anything to worry about, USCIS does not have a specific rule of thumb in case processing. I would bet there are people in LIN still waiting before you

Thank you for your response. How do I contact tier-2 officer?
