    Hi Everyone,

    Hope everyone is all doing well and happy! (F)

    As for myself, I am sorry for not being here for a long time now being that I had to go through a grieving period in my life and thought it would be best for me to stay away for a while because I needed time to gather my strength and to get well again after being in the hospital due to the stress of my work and mostly because of the stress and problems in my marriage.

    Some of you had already known for some time now that my marriage was over and that I would soon be divorcing. It wasn't easy living with someone who truly did not tried his best to make it work here because he was always missing his mother and Turkey.

    Of course I understood his unhappiness and I tried my best to make his life easier here, but one can only do so much to help make things better when the other does not even want to try. :(

    Anyway as you can all see I have changed my signature now to being happily divorced soon because the heaviness of this marriage and visa process is finally over for me and I am much better now and looking forward to my new life and have been spending more time with my family and friends now, they are truly the most important people in my life! (L)

    Well I wish everyone here much much Love & Happiness and a warm Welcome to all the new couples that have joined "Just Turkish"!!! :)

    First....

    I need to thank you GOD for answering my prayer so quickly...since I have prayed to you last night...

    and please forgive me any time I ever doubt your existence. Now Please give me strength to FORGET and FORGIVE others that have caused pain, since I am not a perfect person eitheir. I thank you GOD the time I was able to spend with her, bless our souls since we are not perfect and heal our hearts so we can find peace. Amen

    This has been one of the saddest day of my life.....next to my divorce years ago....

    Finally, finally, the TRUTH has finally come out and there is NO POSSIBLE way to get this her here......under any shape or form.

    I will NOT go into any details for many reasons....

    I just pray GOD that gives me strength to FORGIVE....I may never forget...

    what a roller coaster this journey has been...

    A word of advice from someone who has learned the hard way....

    Hire a local private detective before engaging in any long distance relationship......

    Ask for the documents required by the embassy,

    have the "originals" mailed to you so you can see with your own eyes...

    before you even starting any process...K1, IR/CR1 or what ever that may be.

    Will save your self heartaches and money too....

    It's been a long time since I have posted here and because of your message I thought I come and check and see how everyone else is doing too.

    Your little Mehmet is the sweetest little boy, Congratulations to you and hubby!!! :)

    Hi Everyone!

    Thanks to Debra for checking in on me and my family! Sorry I've been completely busy working and a mommy of a 9 1/2 month old! Yes! Mehmet is 9 1/2 months old already! 22.5 lbs and 30 inches! He's going to be a big boy! He is a complete joy! I love him to pieces! Just wish I had more time to spend with him, but I'm playing the Mega Millions every week in hopes of retiring! LOL! Resul just had a job change and is now in the auto mechanics field (he took a year long course at night for auto mechanics last year). So that was a big change for him and he is happier in this job. He has now been here in the US for 3 years as of this past Fri. He still has not been back to Turkey and is sad about that, but we had an unexpected miracle take place (Mehmet!) and could not go back yet... Plus hus brother's wife just had a baby, the 2nd grandchild now in the family (a girl named Idol). So he's sad that his family still has not met their 1st grandchild. It's very hard for him.

    I hope all are well out there and things are going smoothly. Resul also received his 10 year green card a few months ago. We (or shall I say "I") did the lifting of conditions all by myself and we had no problems! Lord knows we could not afford our lawyer for this process and thanks to God all worked out. So if I can do it the rest of you out there can too! Keep that in mind when you get to that point.

    Well this momma has to get to bed and get ready for another long week! Living for the weekends! That's all you can do... Take care and keep in touch!
