I am a K1 visa HOLDER, my fiance applied for CRBA for our 6 year old daughter. During interview we were advised that my fiance needs to submit further evidence to prove his 5 year physical presence in the US.prior to the interview we had submitted the following documents for the embassy:
. Title deed for the house owned in US
. Employment letter
. Old British passport.
We were advised that the above evidence isnt sufficient to prove physical presence. We were told that fiance cannot submit sss and W2 as he can file for those while outside USA. Is there any other evidence that other people submitted to meet this requirement? Can we be denied if we do not meet this criteria? Do we need wait 90 days before they can make a denial decision. We were hoping that if we receive denial letter, than we can proceed to add our daughter as a K2. Any guidance and assistance in this matter will be highly appreciated.
When my fiancée and I did our CRBA back in September 2019, I presented W2s, stamped out passport, and most importantly, MY SOCIAL SECURITY STATEMENT, which showed a history of payments to US government since age 18. Usually, that should be enough to push you over the edge and get approved. Otherwise, you will have to decipher your old passports and prove that you've spent 365 days * 5 years = 1825 days inside the USA.

My understanding is that any children that you listed on Form I-129F, in Part 2, Item 40.a (children of beneficiary that are under age 18) will need to attend interview with their documents such as birth certificate, passport, letter from their biological father (if not you) authorizing them to travel, etc.
When my fiancée and I attended the interview for CRBA, the baby absolutely had to be there in order to get USA passport and citizenship. I would expect the same deal for US Consulate Interview with any children going on a K2 visa.
Good luck with your visa journey, Craig!

Thanks for the responses. I got excited when I saw the notification, but it means nothing except that the USCIS has "received" my forms/documents and tossed them into the pile of other cases...
I appreciate the clarification everyone. Thanks again.

I found this info online from the Social Security Administration and attached an excerpt:

Whenever "outside" and government offices open up to the public after this covid-19 pandemic, you and your husband should visit the social security office.

1) I recently submitted my form I-129F on April 14, 2020 with all requested documentation attached. The USCIS has processed my payment and sent me the following text:
" USCIS: Your case was received. Receipt # WACxxxxxxxxxx. Oficial Receipt Notice (Form I-797) to follow in mail. Msg & Data rates may apply. DO NOT REPLY"
The question is what do I do now? According to https://www.uscis.gov/forms/forms-information/form-i-797-types-and-functions, Form I-797 (without any suffix) suggests that it was approved. Is it really real or does the USCIS send out the same generic text/email only later for the petitioner to discover I-797E via mail?
2) If I-797 is an authentic approval status, then is there anything that I can do to help my fiancée prepare for the next steps?
2) When renewing a USA passport, does the US Dept. of State send my old passport back? I have unexpired visas that I would like to use to travel back and help her and be participate in the interview.

Hey Brook2Pies,
I am practically in the same boat as you having submitted my I-129F documents recently. The whole process is can be overwhelming with a wealth of info on the internet. I had help from friends (from Brazil) who have successfully filed and been living happily married together in the USA. They reviewed my submission before I mailed just to catch anything minor that I may have missed.
Because the span of your relationship is so short, you may want to include the texts/emails, etc. to prove legitimacy of the relationship. Due to covid-19 delays, I would submit it in hopes of preventing Request for Evidence (RFE).
Good luck.
