  1. Hi,

Here is the list of family we wish to file for. 1st thing is both me and wife are US Citizens. These relatives are in Vietnam. Her mother and Father and 2 brothers are still in Vietnam. Do I need to file for each a I-130 seperate or can they goto together on one I-130? I read each one needs thier own but do I send them together or seperate?

Here are the issues I also have.

    Mother and father

1 brother is 20 and not married. The other brother is 23 and married 1 child and 1 child on the way. What would be the best way to file for them?

    Thank you,

  3. Call them both and proceed with a formal request from the Senators. They will get answer in 24hours(It's law). Also if you feel that someone has mis handled the paperwork you can get them to help you with an appeal. I didn't have to get this far but I was told at this time it might be time to get an attorney the deals with immigration. He can do a little more then you can. He knows the system too. Good Luck!

  4. She only needs 2 things. Passport with vise in it and the brown envelope for each person. The Brown Envelope contains everything about your case. Don;t open it. He or she will check her shot records as well and advise her if something is wrong. She will have to have the shots later when you go to the local USCIS office. Don't worry just tell them to only bring their clothes and important things with them. No Food, nuts, cookies, rice, seeds, plants. This will cause issues. Your in good now! Relax!

  5. Its VISA and it a sticker placed in the passport and she should get a brown envelope that nobody should open. The officer at her port of entry will open it. I came with my wife back so I was their and chatted with the officer in Atlanta. He wished her well and welcome her to the US! He was a very nice guy! When she gets off the plane it will take a while for her to get released. Make sure when she lands at the first airport in the US she has a long wait for her next flight so she can make the flight on time. Very important! I was told that so we planned ahead. Good Luck!

  6. She will be fine this morning! If she is missing something and they believe her they will ask for more info. She needs to let them know that she has photos and emails and plane tickets and receipts anything that they may need to show that your love is true. She needs to tell them how much she loves you and your family. My wife actually shoved the emails and photos under the counter at them. However she did tell them I was out side waiting. I was outside! I felt that the was very important that I was their. However I new I had my T's crossed and my i's dotted. Good Luck and don't worry!!!! LEt me know what happens.

  7. If she has the US Visa in her passport she is clear to enter any country that does not require one. When I went to VN to bring my wife back we had a all day lay over so went on a tour of Seoul. It was great! She is fine Im sure she is already on a plane to you! Good Luck!

  8. Here is my dilemma. Last year I quit my job and went to Vietnam at the beginning of the year (left January 10, 2006) to get married. I came back in February, but then I went with my mother to China to take a look at some property that we owned that was red tagged to be taken over by the governent to be rebuilt. Then I came back in April and in June I had to go back to Vietnam because there was a mixup in paperwork and I had to go back and sign our marriage license at the Justice Department. When I came back in late June, I struggled to find a decent job and in September, I finally found a good full time job, but needless to say I didn't meet the poverty income requirement for last year.

This year however, I will be easily over the income requirement with no problem. I even got a signed letter from my boss stating my title and full time/permanent status along with my paycheck stubs for this entire year. My question is, would it be possible that she will a problem because of last year's below required income? Is there anything else I can do to show them that I am qualified to support her based on my income for this year?

Thanks in advance for any assistance

The answer is too provide the last 3 years of tax records and w-2's along with an affidavit stating why your income was low last year and current paycheck stubs showing your above the income requirments and letter from your job and money in savings, stocks, etc. Bank statments! Always can get a family member to co-sponsor. A lawyer is good to help write up the affidavit of support.

  9. My wife is applying for a K-3 Visa. My I-129 application was approved on April 15th. a few days later I recieved a letter saying my case had been forwarded and they were gonna mail her a Visa package. Now it is almost June and she hasn't recieved it yet. How long is it supposed to take to mail her the Visa package so she can prepare for an interview and get an interview date?

Thanks for any help I can get. I'm starting to get worried.

Hi our time line is the same however I am finding out additional things. I would like to know if you have an attorney and did you recieve your Packet3 copy yet?

    Anh Tuan! :help:
