I filled AOS with my wife on September 10 ( day they received package). We now have a biometrics appointment on October 2, 2008. Definantly we are September filers

Hello everyone. My wife just received her biometrics appointment which will be in 3 weeks. We filed K1 visa. Can anyone tell me what to expect on this appointment and the length of time till AOS and EAD approved? Thanx so much.

Hey guys, I am happy to say, Mabel entered the Us and now we are married. We are completing the change of status for her. Now I want to write I-864 and because I lost my job I am afraid the US would like to see income coming in. So I included my brother as cosponsor. I am doing the I-864a. However I have a question what number do I have to put on Part 2. Number 13. It says indicate number. But I can not figure it out.

THIS TIPS WERE GREAT. I CALLED TODAY EXACTLY LIKE YOU SAID AND I SPOKE DIRECTLY WITH AN IMMIGRATION OFFICER. THEY SAID THAT AT THE MOMENT THEY ARE REVIEWING OUR K-1 VISA. AND WE SHOULD RECEIVE A RESPONSE PROBABBLY AT THE END OF MARCH.

MABEL AND ME ARE A LITTLE MORE EXITED BECAUSE THE WEBSITE DOES NOT SAY THAT OR THE MESSAGES AT THE 1-800 NUMBER. SO NOW WE GET A RESPONSE.

I am engaged to my fiancee. We submitted our K-1 visa papers and it was received November 5, 2007. Could we get married outside of the country by religion? or is it not good since I requested the K-1Visa. HAs anyone tried it?

On November 5, 2007 I sent for the K-1 visa and that is the day USCIS received teh letter. It has been 3 months ang gotten no response. I keep checking teh website and called them. They say it will take a few months, about 6. Has anyone received it before that time after the new fees? I am an american citizen and she is from Paraguay. I don't know if that matters.
