It's an F2A case? Family preference cases are typically handled at CSC.

Yes, you fill that in if you are doing it on their behalf - "anyone other than the spouse beneficiary, and with their consent etc".. It clearly states this as well. Please just read the guidance. It is self explanatory.
Thanks a lot for your help! Much appreciated

They don't if they are abroad...it clearly states this in the box. We didn't.
Also, since I am the one preparing the document. Do I need to fill in and sign the preparers space or leave it blank?

Hello everyone! I have a quick question. I am petitioning for my spouse and filing i130 online. My spouse lives abroad. Does she have to sign the form i130A? Many are saying NO as instructed by USCIS but i have talked to 2 attorneys and they are saying the beneficiary has to sign. Its really so confusing! Why would the attorney say that. Please guide.
Thanks in advance!

Applying: I-130 Online (F2A Category)
Beneficiary: Pakistan
Do I necessarily need "Written Statements" from family/friends as to how to they came to know about my marriage and authenticate it? I have all the required documents such as Nikkah Nama (English/Urdu), Marriage Certificate (NADRA) & Wedding Pictures. I also do have the "Written Statements" but I can't get them attested from foreign office in Pakistan since its closed, but I have other genuine proofs. Will this be an issue if I apply without them?
Thanks in advance everyone! -
No! You don't need that. The signature fields already say "SIGNED". But do get it notarized stamped and foreign attested before submitting

This shouldn't be an issue if she changes marital status in the passport to "Husband Name" Instead of "Father Name"
If you change her current name with spouse name, this MAY cause delay in terms of assessing documents where she was using her previous name in all the documents and now she has a new one on the passport
I would recommend you to keep it simple! -
Hello! I will be filing my I-130 under visa type F-2A by the end of this month. Meanwhile, I am preparing all the required documents! I need to know if people here have applied online and how has the response been? Also can I upload my wedding pictures as PDF under the additional proof of marriage section where it says "Any other relevant documentation to establish that there is an ongoing marital union"? Rest be assured, I've all the other documents. I just want to add value to my case.
Thanks everyone!
