I guess i should also be off the list now,,, I just received the 'card production ordered email today for my i485 application. Wish me luck people!!

Sorry to reopen this thread but I felt that my case has great similarity to this one. I had my AOS interview last month and everything went well except the fact that the doctor forgot to check the box that says i have satisfied vaccination requirements. I know for a fact that doctors usually delegate form filling to nurses and assistants but they should atleast make an effort of crosschecking the forms. I was so pissed that I received a medical RFE during my interview- especially due to the fact that I spent over $400 on the medical alone. My file hasn't been touched since June, I really dont know where I'm at in the process, worst case scenario is receiving a denial based on this RFE, in which case i might seriously contemplate sueing the doctor. Oh and another thing, the 'government approved doctor' didnt even know that an x-ray was required by USCIS regardless of the tb skin test results.

I just checked my email and got the message that my husbands card has been ordered!!! Crazy! I have seen no movement since June and all of a sudden this!! Maybe USCIS is getting back from vacation...

Hi, good news!!! I received the email that a welcome notice was sent .... I am still trying to believe it!! It seems it was just as the IO said on the interview - they needed an extra few weeks to complete the background check. I think since I was a student here they wanted to check if I were in status all the time I was in school.

But still WOW I really did not expected to have it go through so quickly! I was worried I was going to be big time stuck in name check just for the sake of it.

I havent posted but we are here in the same boat of waiting on name checks.

I found out we are in name checks by asking my congressmans office to follow up on my case and they told me the FBI is doing the name check. So no movement or touches for over 2 months now... My husband really wants to go to Nicaragua for Christmas and we are starting to worry about not getting the green card in time. Does any one think that it would be worth it to not take the risk and pay the $300 for the travel document?

Same here, had my interview three weeks ago,, but no touches for two months this is ridiculous.

I play basketball two to three times a week and I walk to work- (1/4 mile away)

I'm glad that most march filers have been approved and have received their cards. My case is weird coz we went to the interview two weeks ago, everything went well but the doctor forgot to check a couple of boxes on the vaccination supplement. Anyhow, we got an RFE for that and the interviewer took my I94 and had me sign some paper stating when i should file for lifting the conditions on my gc. Its weird coz the interviewer didnt tell us whether we were approved or not. And the RFE thing really worries me. We mailed our response to the RFE three days later though. Hope everything goes as its supposed to.

My mom called ( my parents are in their mid 80s) My dad was taken by Ambulance tonight with a very bad infection (septic shock) . She said that right now they are just trying to make him comfortable. Have him hooked up to IVs. They not sure what will happen next. I wish I could fly there and be with them but that's just not possible.

So if ya have an extra prayer hangin around could ya use it for him?

Late march filer here,, last touch on my i130 was back in april (4/10) As everyone on here i am worried given that my interview date is in just about a month from now.

We don't even have the insurance of the EAD right now. It's incredibly maddening. At least we have a letter sent out to the senator for help and an infopass appointment in 11 days. Until then, I guess we wait some more.

Its surprising that you havent received your EAD card yet, considering yours got approved before ours. The USCIS works in mysterious ways.

Hopefully I'll get the card soon, and the EAD would of been of use for about 2 weeks

Ah, hopefully you'll have made even a tiny bit of 'profit' on what it cost you - either way, I bet you're not too upset at getting to make use of it for such a short time!

We did't get to use the EAD at all !!!!! Got the EAD on a Friday GC on the next monday. Go figure.

Atleast I'll get to use my EAD btween now and my interview (7/27) At times it feels like a waste of money.

I finally got my ead card today, long wait but worth it,, one down, two to go!

Illegal immigration doesnt really bother me, as long as they pay taxes and dont commit additional crimes. I think these people are trying to get better opportunities which is natural for any human being.

I think it depends on the doctor and how fast they can get your test results back, but at most it takes like a week and a half.

Got an "approval sent" email for my EAD card today, hope this doenst mean that I have to wait too long ofr the actual card.

I have a question, will CRIS notify me whether my I485 has been transferred to my local office? I had an RFE and my lud states that they have received my RFE and my case is at NBC. I already received my interview letter for next month (7/27), Is my case going to be transferred to the local office or not?

Just be careful to include all of the paperwork, I received one for the medical stuff (both forms), which sucks coz everyone (even lawyers!) seems to think that one doesnt have to file it with the aos paperwork, this, along with the affidavit of support seem to be the major source of RFE's. My RFE however didnt seem to delay my process.

Hi all. I am happy to say we were approved. Our appointment was at 12:30 and we got there at 12. The worst part was the stupid security guard. He seemed to think he was a god. We went through security and then had to wait about 15 minutes for someone to take us upstairs to the interview. When he looked at the letter he said, I'm sorry, but your interview has changed. My heart dropped. I thought we'd have to come back another day, but then he said you are now going to the third floor.

We were the only ones in the waiting area. We waited maybe 10 minutes max for the interviewer to come get us. He made causal conversation. How long was our drive, etc. When we got in his office he had us swear to tell the truth and then started asking questions. Nothing hard. He wanted to know how we met and then turned to me and asked simple things like my name, address, how much money I made last year. The whole time he had a red pen and was checking off on my application when I answered.

Then he asked my husband the same type of questions. He also asked the "No" questions and my husband's English isn't that good, so he would repeat in simple English so he could understand.

After the general info questions he wanted to see evidence of the relationship. He did not even want to look at the photos, but took a few bills and my benefits info from work.

After that he said we were approved and we would get the green card in 5 weeks. He did not take our A/P or EAD card so I didn't bother to push him for a stamp in the passport.

quick update/more complaining...

EAD card is still not here. We're pretty sure it's the post office, but if he doesn't receive it next week he will inquire about reissuing it. It's been 2 weeks since approval now.

AOS still has not received a pending status at CSC and has had no updates since April 19th. They e-mailed me back saying they don't answer questions via e-mail, call the hotline, blah blah blah. Neither Illinois senator has responded to me. I think they think I'm being silly, but it's incredibly frustrating when someone who was transferred a week ago already has a pending status.

Any advice? Should we make an Infopass appointment or is it pointless? Should I just stop worrying about it and assume it's there?

I feel your pain,, I'm still waiting for the approval email, I already got two 'production ordered' emails, last lud was 6/13,, I wish they didn't even send those emails coz all they do is make someone long for something thats not forthcoming.

Anyone still waiting for their EAD? I'm getting impatient: USCIS
