How to contact consulate? What is the procedure? Please guide 

Hi there, 

I received my passport with visa back on 18 march 2020, from Islamabad embassy. Due to coronavirus situation Airports are closed and am not able travel before the expiry date of my Visa. Its expiring on 7th may. 

I don't how to do extend it? Where to contact for that? 

I called on embassy num they refused to talk about this issue and I also emailed them but they said we deal here only US citizens. I am tens please help me. How to extend visa validity? 

Finally I got my passport back with visa 4 days ago and it will be expire in one month. 

I can't travel as airports are closed due to coronavirus out break. 

If the situation will remain the same and my visa will be expired. Then whats next? I mean is there any way I can renew it?? What is the procedure and how long it will take again?

Visas are approved only AFTER the interview AND all reviews, checks, and administrative processing are complete........even if the Consulate Officer recommends approval.  Unfortunately, Pakistan is known for extended administrative processing times which could last many months or even years........There is nothing you can do, but wait it out for the final result.......

 

The only true approval comes when the status changes to ISSUED.

Yes, you are right. Because we almost tried every way but still there is no change.

My wife sponsored me and I gave interview on 19 November 2019 and after the interview i was told that my visa is approved and I will get an email in 10 days regarding pickup of passport. But its been 4 months now I haven't received any response from them. And ceac case status is still same from 4 months thats ready, ready for the interview. Me and wife send inquiries to US embassy Islamabad two times but they didn't respond. We are confused, what should we do? Anyone facing similar situation? 

Why its taking so long? Please guide
