MY WIFE COME HERE ON A K-1 VISA AND HAD HER MEDICAL BEFORE SHE CAME SO I KNOW SHE DOES NOT NEED A MEDICAL EXAM BUT DO U JUST SEND THE VACCINATION SUPPLEMENT THAT WE GOT FROM THE CIVIL SURGEON OR DO WE HAVE TO ALSO SUBMIT PART 1 2 AND 5 OF THE I693 MEDICAL EXAM FORM BECAUSE THE I693 SAYS TO READ INSTRUCTION ON THE I 485 AND IT SAYS JUST THE VACCINATION AND ON THE MEDICAL ON FORM I693 IT SAID K-1 VISA SHOULD DO PART 1 2 AND 5 SO WHAT IS THE WAY TO GO

I have a marriage Certificate is that what i make a copy of and send for the AOS or do i need the certifed copy from the court house. I read in another post and it was said that the marriage certificate is not what AOS IS ASKING 4 but instead that they want the offical certified certificate from the public records that the court house on file. I would think that the marriage certificate is the same thing that the court house would give me. The marriage certificate i have has my wifes maiden name on it and does not have her new married name on it i don't beleave the certified copy would be any different.

does it need to be notarized

my fiiance had her interview to day and was done in like 5 hours and she said she was to shy to ask if she was approved but the gave her the paper and then told her to go pay the visa delevery fee so i would think that if she paid the fee that she was approved because why would she pay if she was not approved anyone know...i wish she would have asked

My fiance had her early medical and before she wet i paid 18 dollars to call the embassy and ask them to send over packet 4 to st lukes so she could pick it up. But the man at the embassy told me that she had to request it. So she went requested it and they never sent it over to her. So now what ? She downloaded the forms from the state deparment the DS156 DS156K DS157. But the problem is that she didnt get the packet 4 yet and i heard that she cant get in for her interview without the appointment letter from the embassy. The only appointment letter that we have is the one that the embassy sent me. So can she just go without an appointment letter or can i send her the one they sent me that way she can use it. The only problem i see with that is that it has my home address on it. NEED HELP interview in 2 weeks. Let me know if anyone had this problem before THANKS .

my w2 and 1040 can i just send copies and if so do i have to do anything special for the copies

or is it a better idea to just send the orignals of the w2 and 1040

what is the phone number for the embassy in manila i want a direct filipino number for me to call from the usa and if there is a number my filipina can call to for questions she has i found some numbers for her but they never seem to work for her

My fiance has a medical date and embassy date already but she did not get anything from the embassy in the mail yet. I was wondering what comes in the first packet and is there anything in it that has to be sent back to the embassy before the interview? What is in packet 4 and does she have to fill the forms out online and print or can she fill the forms by hand? Is there a link to the forms online any where. What does she need for the medical.

Applicants must submit application documents to NVC to be documentarily qualified for the visa interview. Unless all requirements are submitted, the Embassy cannot process a visa application to completion. Be mindful of the expiration dates of the required documents, .........so does my fiance have to send this to the NVC ?

yep, I'm with you on that... if it had no impact on anyone else, then I would say go ahead and call your congressman as soon as you want... but as it probably does, even in the relatively minor way that Brian describes above, then I think waiting is the only right way to go about things

and as for 'accepting things like a mule' - how broadly can this be applied? would you say that illegal immigrants are simply those who have decided not to 'accept everything like a mule' and are just taking action to improve their life? they may well be, but that doesn't make it right either

(and no, I'm not saying the two things are equal, just using an example that we'll all identify with )

well i quess im the bad guy. all i did was call and asked them to make sure it was not lost misplaced fell threw the crack i did think they would process it right then and then.i even told my congressman that it was not over do and he said that he would still call and check on it for me. some congressman just care about the people the repersent more then others i quess.all i can say is try and maybe u too could have the same result.

you called your congressman when you filed in mid-August? ok...

i called because i didnt want to wait for 6 months then find out they lost my app or something stuiped happen and i wasted all that time

I called my congressman on monday the 17th of DEC and i recvied a e mail to the 21st of DEC that

i was approved. I guess because they had to dig it out of the pile they just though to process while they had it in there hands. What ever the reason why im glad they did it took 128 day in vermont. GHood luck to everyone else on there journey.

I have sent my 129F app its waiting to be processed but my filipina fiance has to move so i was wondering how i change the address because the app has her soon to be old address

I sent my i 129f app on aug 16 07 and i recived my i 797c 5 days later but the problem is that my i129f app had an expires date of 12/31/06 and a revised date of 05/23/06 i didnt check before i sent it in if it was right cause the new version was the same question for question word for word ....i know its the wrong revised version but now what happens to i get RFE or do they just make me start over and go to the end of the line .....and when u send it in and they take ur payment do they even check to see if u sent in the version or do all they check to see if u sent the right amount of money to them if anyone knows or had this happen to them please let me know and what is the number for the USCIS so i can call and talk to a real person and ask what i need todo now

You should be ok. If you filed on 08/16, you would've gotten your petition and your fee returned to you... Did you received the NOA yet?

I received my (I 797C) NOA 1 it says received date august 15 2007 notice august 16 2007.Says amount received $455 i dont know if they look to see what version u are submiting or all they problay do is look to make sure u sent the right amount and they dont check the version till they go to process the application u have to remeber its the U.S. goverment we are dealing with here. Plus i paid with a U.S. postal money order.
