Hi! 

I have recently received the packet from the Embassy. I have a question about the documents they want us to submit. They asked to submit old passport. What if the old passport is lost? it is stated in the website to submit expired passports issued in the past 10 years. The misplaced passport  was issued last 2007. Do I need to write a letter about the lost passport? Thank you for anyone who can help.

you can reschedule up to 3 times. And then you would need to repay the money for scheduling.

I would contact embassy. I was in a similar situation you can read my embassy review if you like. 
 

K1 interviews are held only on Mondays

I actually heard from someone from the embassy that they are going to contact us once they receive our cases.
I think there is a link to reschedule the interview on the embassy website.

 

May I ask you - Were there a lot of openings when you scheduled your interview?

I think the NVC will be sending my case on March 3, I wonder if I will be able to schedule an interview for the end of March...

Im just panicking now bc I might have been too excited in scheduling the interview.

The earliest date is March 3 if I'm not mistaken. Open dates are only mondays. 

Hello! My case is for K-1 Visa

My fiancé and I have already received the letter from the NVC last feb 18 and our status is already "ready" when I checked on CEAC website last feb 20. I have already finished filling up the DS-160 form and already scheduled an interview appointment on April 13 without receiving the letter from the embassy. My questions are:

1. will there be a problem with our timeline from the time it was ready until the interview date? I'm really worried that I might need to reschedule if have not received any letter from the embassy. 

2. If I do have to reschedule, how can I reschedule it?
