It seems that Vermont is moving fast now! I've just received an email saying that an approval notice was sent for my application to remove conditions on my residency!

Question: Who Won the Debate?
Results: McCain - 23% Obama - 77%
This is in Georgia - a "red" state.
...with a large black population, you may add. Especially in Atlanta. But what about rural Georgia that probably doesn't read AJC? I'm not surprised if Obama gets most of the votes in Atlanta and suburbs bit I don't think he has much supports elsewhere in this state.

Can someone update our entry on the list? My wife was approved on 7/30, out of VSC. -
I plan on breastfeeding my baby and God knows how much I want to succeed in doing that. I'm struggling with food intolerances and want to make sure my baby is not exposed to chemical addictives and preservatives at that early stage of his life. But I'm prepared with formula in case breastfeeding doesn't work. I looked into Similac and Enfamil. Both of them have those DHA and ARA components and Similac lists corn syrup as first ingredient
(something that sets my intolerance off even when just present in traces)! I've chosen Babys Only Organic formula, which is called toddler formula but just for political reasons, since the company that produces it believes that newborns should only be fed breastmilk and there's nothing better than breastmilk. Hopefully I won't need it!

Yes, the biometrics are done at the Application Support Center on Collier Rd., not at the actual USCIS offices. The Collier Rd ASC is in an old warehouse and at the back of the property. Collier Rd is a winding road that goes first through a commercial district, then through a residential type area and finally a light industrial section. The ASC driveway is halfway down a hill to the right with a trucking warehouse immediately before it. Try and get a parking space as close to the back of the building as you can as the entrance is at the back. It will probably be very busy - there is overflow parking in the big field immediately adjacent to the parking lot.

thanks miscious,greg & dolly. i could not find their local ofc nos. what i did is i pulled thru map quest the 2 address' & i will try to go to collier rd first then if its not there then i will just go to that new address. i will go in atlanta 1 day early so me& my friends can see the craziest traffic of atlanta.
. you all just wish me luck that i will still be sane after driving the atlanta traffic. xtin

I'm scheduled to do my biometrics In Atlanta one day after you, on the 23rd. Also my letter says to go to Collier Road. Okay, I just googled it and I believe I found the document you are talking about. I attached it, although I'm not sure I succeeded. Anyway, I believe it refers to the USCIS Atlanta Local Office which has nothing to do with the location of the building where they do the biometrics. I've been at the building on Collier Road before and that is just a location where they take pictures and fingerprints. It is not the USCIS office, where they do interviews, infopass and so on. The new location is replacing the office in downtown Atlanta and one in Dunwoody, which actually I had no idea it existed.
I think we are fine with going to Collier Rd.

That is pretty scary RichardS! I'm in Atlanta too, about to send off my petition to remove condition on my residency. I'm currently 6 months pregnant and the idea of standing in line there for hours doesn't sound very appealing!
My AOS was approved without interview by CSC and I am thimking (hoping) my I-751 could be transferred and processed there too. By looking at the timelines on the awesome table on this thread, I see it takes about 2 months after the first NOA is received to get the biometrics. I'll be delivering my baby at the beginning of April and I'm hoping I'll get the appointment before that.
How does the biometrics date get scheduled? Do you actually schedule the appointment by phone after receiving the NOA1 or are they going to send the date together with the NOA1?

I went through Naples in October 2004 and I did have a copy (certified) of my fiance's birth certificate. Certified in this case does not mean "notarized". The birth certificate they MAY ask to see is the one issued by the vital records of the State where your fiance was born. I have it in front of me now: the header reads State of Minnesota Certification of Vital Records. Actually, it is the same one your fiance sent with the original fiance' petition.
It is not clear whether you must have it or not. But if it is not too much of a hassle for you, I would bring it. Unfortunately I don't remember if they ask to see it when I was there! I do remember that a guy here in VJ went to the interview in Naples without it and he got the visa with just minor problems (they were just a little rude).
Good luck on your interview in Naples. THey are a little messy over there but kind of laid back compared to other consulates.

Wouldn't it be a lot easier to just send them a couple of pictures? I agree that although the application is now worthless, it might be a good idea to clear any RFE's that might be in their computer systems. I don't think it is much to worry about but a couple of photos and a 39 cent stamp will clear any chances that something might come up later.
