  3. Hi All,

I need to know the best course of action if anyone can suggest. My wife recently lost a Conditional Green Card (lost a lot of things when a purse of lost) and now we are close to filling Removal of Condition petition. We are approaching "within 90 days of second anniversary" time frame starting November 20th. The form I-751 mentions that a copy of Green Card is required to be part of the package to service as Initial Evidence. Unfortunately, we don't think we have copy of green card, but we do have everything else for this package to prove our good-faith marriage and that we are living together.

    Appreciate the guidance here!

    Thanks,

    Abefaizi

    salman

    Eid Mubark

    Assalam o alaikum, Eid Mubarak!

No news yet, I have emailed the embassy again today and will everyone know if there is an update, Good luck!

Eid Mubarak as well as Belated Eid Mubarak to other,

Guys would like to know the some trends in regards to Scheduling of Interview was IR1/CR1 Cases at Islamabad. With the grace of God the process has been Smooth so far and hope it will be over in the same fashion and sooner. My Wife Received the Instruction packet 3 from Consulate last week and we are going to submit the papers they requested soon. My only concern is scheduled Date of interview given by Consulate in Islamabad. I have heard that consulate is scheduling Interview as far as Jan or Feb for Interviews for some people (heard this for Attorny). Have you guys experienced this or heard anything like that. according to couple of timelines it seem like interviews are scheduled like month to month and half apart.

Any Updates or experiences will be appreciate. Thanks Alot. (May Allah Help you All, Inshallah.)

  5. Thanks for the information sir. And a Good News ... NVC assigned a case# to our I-130 Petition on July 13, 2007.:thumbs:

    Hi all,

See below info. from NVC web site to find out when your case number created.

    QUOTE

Case Number: The National Visa Center (NVC) gives each immigrant petition a case number. This number has three letters followed by ten digits (numbers). The three letters are an abbreviation for the overseas embassy or consulate that will process the immigrant visa case (for example, GUZ for Guangzhou, CDJ for Ciudad Juarez).

The digits tell us exactly when NVC created the case. For example a case with the number MNL2001747003 would be a case assigned to the U.S. Embassy in Manila. 2001 is the year in which NVC received the case from the USCIS (formerly INS). The Julian date is 747 plus 500, so this case was created on September 4, 2001, the 247th day of the year. The 003 shows that it was the third case created for Manila on that day. This case number is not the same as the USCIS receipt number, which is written on the Notice of Action, Form I-797, from the USCIS. A consular section abroad cannot find a case if all you have is the USCIS receipt number.

  6. Hi Guys,

Any Luck? I called NVC and Came to know that they have got something today, but they can't pull the status as to what it is, so i guess that Something = I-130 Petition/File.

    Good Luck to Everything Else.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

Guys did anyone get NVC's confirmation if Case is Recieved or they assigned a case#? Am still waiting and its been 3 weeks now and no idea whats going on.

    Thanks.

    Hi Guys,

Well Our I-130 Petition was Approved on Jun 21, 2007 and was sent to NVC according to CSC and hasn't been recieved by NVC yet. Still waiting here as well, I have been calling then every other day to see if they recieved it. I hope they recieve it within this week can't wait anymore ... Hope the Same for everyone else as well. Good Luck Guys

    Dear petitioners,

Our I-130 and K3 petitions were approved on June 8, 2007.

NVC still hasn't received these approved petitions for processing.

Is it normal to wait this long? All they have to do at this stage is mail them, correct?

OR is there additional processing in-between?

  9. Congrats and Best of Luck for rest of the process, i hope its quick

We finally got our K3 / K4 visas today in the mail!!! :D:thumbs::dance:

We are super happy, but first and foremost we would like to thank EVERYONE on visajourney.com for their help and support through this long and tedious process!!!!

    Now on with the questions:

    1. We finally got our K3/K4 visas today in the mail and my son's K4 visa lists his sex as "F", I also wanted information on what to do since we already bought our tickets to go to the USA on July 10 and I think that even attempting to contact the consulate could arise a delay in getting everything sorted out and finally going home.

Does anyone know if this could be a problem at the POE? I think its a minor error since his Passport says his sex as "M" and he is 5 years old... What does anyone advise? Should we just wait and try to contact the Consulate once in the USA???

    2. After arriving in the USA how soon can my wife apply for a Social Security Number, Employment Authorization and her driver's license? What's the order that we should apply for this documents? How long do we have to wait for each one? How soon can she expect to be able to work and drive?

    3. Also I filed form I-130 and I-129F as wife and not as a fiance shortly after receiving the I-130 NOA, I was wondering what is the path to follow once we get to the USA to do the AOS? How long does it it take for my wife to receive her Green Card? Is the process long? or is it easier now since my I-130 was approved the same day as the I-129F back in April 2007?

Any information is greatly appreciated and thanks again and I wish everyone the best through their own visa journey.

  10. I Hope it happens quick for you guys and Wish you best of luck

Well my friend consider yourself to be holy, amen..can I get an amen. lol. well I guess I just have to gut it out like the others. btw congrats. congrats. The day i get mine approved, I will be running for joy and as well crying for joy. good day
well i don't have a clue but its all because of God Almighty. To be honost, i felt the same way as you do when i looked at other Feb I-130 Filler. Most of them got approved before mine from the same region and it seems like i was the last one from Feb. wish you all the best
Why so fast, I mean thats what I don't understand. How approval date seems to go fast. I look at the timeline compared to other people and they have been waiting for a while.

I am still waiting for my approvals even though i applied before you did. I just hope now thats since you got yours then i should get mine soon.

    Congratulations......

  12. Hi Everyone,

I Wanted to start this Thread to Thank all of you for the help and info. share. Our I-130 Petition got APPROVED on Jun 22, 2007 (Recieved an Email from USCIS Mentioning I-130 APPROVAL NOTICE SENT)

Feeling Very Happy about this and thanks again for all the information guys. Here is our Timeline so far

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------

    Feb 26, 07 -- I-130 Petition Sent

    Feb 28, 07 -- Recieved by USCIS @ VSC

    Mar 13, 07 -- NOA1 - Notice with Reciept Date

    .

    May 29, 07 -- Transfered to CSC

    Jun 05, 07 -- Transfer Notice Sent

    Jun 22, 07 -- Approved - NOA2 - Approval Notice Sent :D

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------

  13. Hi guys,

I have Question, what is the number for Customer service @ USCIS to talk to a person and not listen to automated status. Well am going through kinda same situation, i filled i-130 on Feb 26 and got NOA1 in 2 days with reciept date of Feb28.Then on May 29 they transfered the case to CSC from VSC and sent a Transfer Notice the same day. After that got touched on June 6 and nothing after that. according to timeline i should be getting NOA2 by the end of June like Jun 26. Just feeling furstrated with the whole wait and not hear anything.

    thanks. :wacko::unsure:

Yup, familiar story. It appears to be the exception rather than the rule now if a case status is updated at the website. I found out ours had been approved by calling NVC 2 weeks after it was approved. Details are in my sig.

You might still get an NOA2 in the mail. Ours came 2 days ago, and our I-129F was approved at about the same time that yours was.

Congratulations, BTW. May the rest of your visa journey go smoothly. :)

  14. Hi Guys,

I Applied @ Vermont Service Center on Feb 27, 2007 and got NOA1 with recieved date of Feb28, 2007. After about 3 Months of Wait they sent me an email about Case transfer from Vermont to California Service Center on May 29, 2007. Now Again its Pending since May 31, 2007 @ California Service Center.

Does anyone else got transfered? Let me know if you guy have any information for me.
