I am a U.S. citizen sponsoring my wife. I do not have sufficient income so I have a joint sponsor with more than sufficient income. Should I include monetary assets on my I-864 even though they are below the required amount needed to make up for insufficient income. Would this help or hurt my wife's application in any way? 

Will joint sponsors no longer be weighed much at all? My wife is applying for CR1 and is below the poverty level. Will her being below the 125% level without a joint sponsors automatically disqualify her? The joint sponsor is easily above the 250% level, but will that be taken into account? My income falls under the Foreign Income Exclusion so the total income shows as 0 and I am worried she will be rejected due to these changes.

Hello. I am filling out the I-864 and I need to include total income. However, I filed a 1040X which has no total income line. Should I put the AGI number from the 1040X instead? Does anyone have any experience with this?
