Hi,
What's the best solution to an expired medical report after the beneficiary has been granted immigrant visa at the local embassy but before beneficiary has travelled into USA? Would beneficiary be able to retake medical examination?
-
My bad, yes you are right. So I have to make sure AFTER receiving immigrant visa, I only arrive USA on 14 Jan 2021 or later.
-
In that case I just have to ensure that I travel after my 2nd year anniversary date (which is 14 Jan 2020) but still within the 6 months validity period of the immigrant visa.
No issue for me to travel to USA for 2 weeks under ESTA while the interview is being scheduled right?

Ok, so I just want to confirm again.
Our 2nd anniversary is 14 Jan 2020. So if the first date I (beneficiary) arrive in USA with an immigration visa is 15 Jan 2020, I will be granted a Green Card valid for 10 years right?

Thanks for replying.
So just to clarify, the date you mean is the date I (beneficiary) first enter USA with an immigration visa right?
Quote
2 years from the date of your entrance into the United States.

Hi all
My husband and I were married in Jan 2019 and filed for I130 visa abroad.
The I130 has been approved at NVC stage and waiting to be sent to local Embassy.
I know that a 10 years validity of Green Card will only be issued if we have been married for more than two years at the time our permanent residency is approved.
Can I ask, when would the exact approval date be? Is it the date when I have completed the interview or when the Green card is being issued to me or when I travel to the US with my visa?
Can we delay our interview nearer to our anniversary so that we can get a 10 years Green Card?
Any help is appreciated!

Hi guys.
Regarding the I864ez on personal income, Part 5 where it says: My Federal Adjusted Gross Income, what should my husband (Petitioner) put if his income in under the Foreign Earned Income Exclusion?
We have ordered his Tax Transcripts a long while back but it hasn't reached us. Appreciate if someone can let us know which line item in the 1040/WE form this amount refers to.
Thanks!

That's awful, 400 days?! I hope you hear from them soon..
Got a reply from USCIS: "Currently, the NSC is processing most cases of this type within approximately 16 months from the Form I-130 receipt date."
We're not too far behind in terms of waiting. Been 355 days now since Mar 1, 2019.

Hi guys, been a long time lurker since we submitted our I130 with PD on 1 Mar 2019. Also applied I129 to try our luck but didn't hear anything so far since last October.
Will be returning a call to the senator's office (Casey's) tomorrow to see if they can offer any kind of help to expedite. Just wondering if anyone has any luck with the senator?
Hopefully we can hear some good news.
Solution to expired medical report?

Thanks.
So I understand that since both medical and visa have a 6 months validity, beneficiary would have to travel to USA before any of those expire.
Qns: Given the below dates, would the beneficiary be granted a 2 or 10 year green card?
- Earliest expiration date (medical): 6 Jan 2021
- 2nd year marriage anniversary date: 14 Jan 2021
- Beneficiary arrival date in USA: 5 Jan 2021.
