My ceremony was a small one, should be 25 people in total.

But there were 2 men didn't show up at the ceremony,

so only 23 people swore in to become new citizens.

The ceremony started at 8:30 and it ended at 9 AM.

It was very simple and short but it was on a local news channel.

The first time I saw myself on TV

I am one of those people who is going to swear in on that day ^^

From the original list. I found out the biggest group is the one in FL,

there will be 1,000 people attend the ceremony at Disney Land.

I am sorry, I have no idea what the ARC sworn statement is, either.

Did the officer keep the card or is it lost?

If lost, this will be a real set back since getting a replacement takes 3.5 months!

The I.O. won't take your G.C. at the interview.

Looking at your oath letter, on the letter,

it said if you lost your permanent resident card before the interview(here means oath),

bring your lost ARC sworn statement with photo I.D.

you can travel with an N-400 pending... you will update your new "out days" at the interview.

In your situation, a 7 day cruise will have no effect

And, make sure you won't miss your fingerprint appointment or interview date.

N-400 is moving quite quickly lately.

I had my interview today and I am not sure if all went fine

she said she doesnt have enough bona fide documentation for 2006 !?!

The only thing I could give her were taxes and 2 bank account statements for that year

she wasn't sure that will be enough, and she needs the documents to be still reviewed

although she said she would recomend me for approval

the note from the interview says that "A decision cannot yet be made"

So if an applicant passes the interview,he/she will be given an oath letter before leaving the office.

Can't wait another 3 weeks to see what is gonna happen, so made an InfoPass.

The clerk at R.I. field office said they didn't do N-652, interview result paper there.

So if you pass the interview, they will give you an oath letter right after the interview.

Then the clerk checked my personal information on her screen, she confirmed that

the country of birth and nationality were shown as" Taiwan". That was a big relief.

Before I left, she said we(USCIS) might mess up something but we fix it.

I am not sure about the add. issue.

But the ASC is the place where you do your fingerprint, and the field office is the

place where you go for your citizenship interview and Infopass.

At th eend of my interview, the IO handed me a form to check over and sign "this is the information that will appesr on your naturalisation certificate".

It's good for you to catch a mistake before you left the interview office.

My the other concern is that my interviewer didn't give me that interview result paper, which also was known as Form-652.

Therefore, I didn't have chance to double check before I left and as result, I didn't sign on that paper either.

All I signed at the interview were my passport photos and the final part of the Form-400.

But I had my oath letter after the interview.

Should I make an infopass to check what information will appear on the certificate before the oath day?

Is it allowed to do so?

I simply want my personal identity information on my permanent legal certificate

is correct and true and match my other legal papers.

After all, I had sworn to tell nothing but true.

Taiwan does allow dual nationality.

Being honest about where I originally came from won't affect my loyalty to U.S.A.

In fact, I just found out one document (http://www.state.gov/documents/organization/94675.pdf)

that was released by U.S. Department of State Foreign Affairs that provides guidance

on writing an applicant's place of birth in a passport.

But I am sure is it suitable to the issue of former nationality.

How long will I have to wait for a new certificate if I make a correction on my certificate

at the oath ceremony, anyone know?

I would leave it as is.

I believe the US has kept a neutral stand on the China/Taiwan issue and has never formally recognized Taiwan as a separate country from the Mainland.

Yes, indeed. My interviewer mixed those YES and NOT questions and he talked very fast.

Sometimes, he even used his own words to descry those questions, got to be very careful or would be trick.

During my citizenship interview, my interviewer changed my nationality from Taiwan into China.

I disagreed with this change, so my interviewer said he would leave it the way I write down on the form-400.

My nationality on my G.C. is shown as " Taiwan", I don't know why this interviewer had problem with that.

N-652 is a form that indicates your interview result.

If you pass the test, it will be with an announcement that your application is recommended for approval.

I did sign on my passport photos and my final part of N-400, but I didn't see any paper said I was recommended for approval.

After the interview, I was asked to wait for my oath letter at the rest area. That was it.

I am not sure will it affect anything if I only have an oath letter but don't have N-652.

6 questions are,

*Where is the Statue of Liberty?

*Who is the governor of your state?

*Name two national holidays.

*What movement tried to end racial discrimination?
