I took my Oath on January 13th! So glad to be done with everything!! Now to get my passport before my trip to Bahamas in April :-)

I passed my test!

December 8th it was and it was so simple!!

I was ready for some tough questions and was confident I knew it all, then they asked me what state borders mexico (i live in AZ!!) and name the ocean on the east coast! I would be amazed if anyone ever doesn't pass the test as it was so simple.

Oh well, now to wait for a letter to tell me when to go down to the courthouse in January to take my oath!

My interview is December 8th in Tucson AZ!

Should my wife go with me to it??

I am somewhat confused as to when we have to take the test. Is it at the same time as the interview, or do we have to come back another time for it?

I worked at Wells Fargo for 2 months when I first moved here and hated every second of it...cold calling people all day long is not much fun!

Since June 2008 I have been with AXA Equitable as a Financial Advisor in Tucson, Arizona, and I love every minute of it - get to meet different people and hear people's life stories, and help them with their retirement savings and life insurance too so that helps!

This is my dream job and I will do it for the next 30+years!

I did my fingerprints early on the 19th.

My FP are scheduled for 10/21/11

I have my fingerprints OCTOBER 21st.

I think I might just go in sometime this week and see if I can get them done earlier, as their office is just a mile away from mine.

I got my Receipt I797C yesterday...guess that counts as my NOA!

My check was cashed September 28th...they just love taking my money!!

We sent our package in to Phoenix on September 20th. Check not cashed yet and no email/text received, but I did get confirmation from USPS that it was delivered!

I have been away from here for some time but I'm now filing my N400, and have a quick question.

I have been in America since 2008, under 5 years - how many days should i put in part 7 where it asks for the number of total days spent outside of the united states in the past 5 years??

Technically, I have had 12 days outside of the US since I moved here in 2008, but going back 5 years would take me back to before I even moved here.

Any advice would be appreciated!!

I wonder if I am the only one on here to have been approved but still not received the new green card??

Hey folks!

So as the title states, my approval was confirmed and they sent out my 10 year green card. The only problem being, they sent it to the wrong address as we had to move house and didnt do the AR11 in time.

We then filed an I-90 for them to send a replacement GC, but it still has not arrived and now I am being told that there is a 6 month wait on the completion of this form. 6 months would take me to over 1 year that the inital extension on my GC is good for, so im worried that will open a whole can of worms.

Has anyone else experienced a similar problem?

we got our approval December 20th, but still no card yet. I called today to ask where the card was and they said it hadn't been sent out yet, that it normally takes at least 4 weeks to be sent out. changed my address online today too, so hopefully that doesnt mess things up too much!

I just realized my GC expired a couple weeks ago, good thing I have the letter extending it for a year or else I would be in some serious trouble Im thinking!

Man it would be a cool christmas gift to get a new one!!

I think it is entirely random how they process things, just my 2 cents!

moving house, changing address

So as you can see by the title, we will likely be moving home within the next 6-8 weeks.

What if the green card has not arrived in that time, is there anything I have to do to let them know?
