Are you referring to the I-129F or the visa application process at the embassy? Are you the Petitioner?
As the Petitioner; you need to include the divorce decree (certified) with the I-129F, you do not need a copy of the divorce decree for the embassy phase, BUT ... CFO will want a copy of your divorce decree for the GCP seminar.

I am the petitioner and am referring to the visa application process at the embassy. For the I-129F, the copy of the divorce decree I sent was not certified, but I will send her one in case they want to see it in the interview, or for the CFO seminar.

As part of the packet of docs to send my fiancé, I have heard that a divorce certificate is not sufficient to prove that any previous marriage(s) have been finalized with a divorce decree. And that I need to send her (certified or non-certified) copies of the decree which does include a judge's signature granting the divorce. So the question is, will a certificate suffice? If not, does the divorce decree have to be a certified copy?

I have heard that once your fiance' is ready to come to the US, that their ticket should be a round trip and not a one way. Is this advice coming from the US Embassy? I understand that most round trip tickets are even cheaper than a one way. I'm just wondering about the messaging that the Embassy is sending. What is your opinion? And for those of you lucky enough to have your fiance/wife here already, what did you do?

So, I am an American citizen born there but came here to the US when I was 2 yrs old, so I'm pretty sure I don't need an CENOMAR. Right?
