  1. Hello I'm new to VisaJourney.com but have read many posts but couldn't find my specific question. My question is about the meeting requirement in preparation of the I-129F form. I have met my girlfriend face to face in the Philippines although I had not met her prior to going there. My best friend was going there in order to be married so I went with him to assist him (he's in a wheelchair) with everything, and I stayed for 21 days. My best friend's wife's cousin came along as a chaperon and that is how I met her. We started a relationship while in the Philippines and it has blossomed into love. It's been about 7 months now and I'm going to propose to her soon. I have my boarding passes, passport stamps, hotel receipt, and photos of us together. I also have cards/letters she has sent me as well as phone records, Yahoo chat logs, and Moneygram/bank receipts (remittance).

My question is, does my meeting her on that trip satisfy the I-129F meeting requirement even if she wasn't my fiance at the time that we met?

Thank you in advance for any comments or opinions as all are appreciated.

    John

    Yes your all good

  2. We are going to take our vacation in Philippines by the 3rd week of december. Husband already booked all flights and hotels. Now, I'm a little worried coz my green card is expire on Dec 01, 2010. We are also just going to send my packet in USCIS this coming friday. I am wondering now if is there any chance for us to recieve it any sooner, before atleast 3rd week of December ? This is the only available time of me and my husband have to take this trip, so I am praying that hopefully this is not gonna end up of a big problem :crying: .

    Any idea guys..... ? Thanks.
