Oh my goodness, that's terrible. I wonder if you could contact a local congressman...

We live in Oregon and filed on July 14th 2008 and still haven't heard anything about an interview. We are starting
to get nervous because we've look at other timelines for Portland and they already have their green card!

I was able to find this other thread talking about this:
http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...=change+address
It sounds like you should wait it out until you receive NOA2. Then wait until the NVC has received the case
and call them to change it. If you miss that then change it at the embassy when the case if forwarded to
them. You can't change it at the USCIS because it's only for US citizens from what I understand.

Ah OK, I get it now. Thank you guys. I think I'd lose it all together without this website.

Yeah at the top of page 4 on the form. There is a space that says,
I own real estate valued at________ and then the next line is
With mortgage(s) or other encumbrance(s) thereon amounting to: $_______
Maybe I'm mistaken. This must not be talking about payments but strictly about assets. Jeez I need another cup of coffee.

I work in a business that has slow times and busy times. The last couple years it's been slow so I've only earned about 35K a year. My mortgage payment is a little high in relation to my income. Even though my income is sufficient, is there any chance of being denied because my mortgage payment is too high? I also have a long term roommate that pays me rent but that is not recorded on my W2 forms. Has anyone had experience with this?

I just saw that my check was cashed yesterday. I sent my I-129f to Nebraska and they sent it to California. Why did they do that when California is slower than Nebraska! Now I have to wait almost 4 months for approval? *sigh*

Thanks for the advice. I was a little worried about that. Unfortunately I didn't use my credit card over there. I have printed out my trip intinerary from Expedia, copied my passport stamp, have my return trip boarding passes, and 5 pictures. Hope that will do it.

I'm sending in the hotel receipt for my stay in Bangkok when I met my fiancee. She picked me up from the airport and we checked in together. I just noticed that the hotel mistakenly wrote Mr. and Mrs. <insert our names> on the receipt. If I make a note and tell them that this was a mistake do you think it will still cause a problem? We were never married!

Thank you so much!!

Thanks for the reply. I thought about handwriting but the box on the form is so small there's no way I could write small enough to get the address on there. Should I attach a separate sheet?

I'm using Acrobat Reader to fill out I-129F and my fiance's address is so long it won't fit in the box. I can type it in but when I print the complete address doesn't show up. Has anyone else had this problem?
