    Marriage certificate UK

    Good evening,

     

    I am currently at the NVC stage in my spouses visa journey and our marriage certificate got submitted back to us stating to please replace with a acceptable marriage certificate. We got married under Islamic wedding but did not register in the UK because we were not aware until I did research. My question is how do we notarize our certificate and do I need to be present ? I am in the military and my schedule is very hectic atm. Any advice would be very helpful. Thank you
